Heading into Week 10, the Colts are the healthier team of the two. We know that the Titans lost left tackle Taylor Lewan a few weeks ago, which was a massive loss. They also have ruled out wide receiver Adam Humphries, cornerback Adoree’ Jackson and safety Dane Cruikshank. These losses, especially Jackson, will be felt. The Colts, however, have only ruled out tight end Jack Doyle, with veteran receiver T.Y. Hilton deemed good enough to go.

While the Colts are healthier, it does not mean they are in better shape. Built to be a run-first team, the Colts have somehow averaged just 3.7 yards per carry this season, which is tied for the second-worst in the league. This put more pressure on a passing offense that lacks talent. The Titans’ offense has been solid, averaging an even 6 yards per play, which ranks tied for seventh in the league. They continue to be led by running back Derrick Henry, but Ryan Tannehill has also proved that last season’s success was no fluke.

The Colts defense ranks in the top half of the league in nearly every category, while the Titans’ defense is a bottom-half team in nearly all categories. In this matchup, the run defense is likely the most relevant, especially with it being a short week. Indianapolis is tied for fewest yards per carry allowed (3.3). Tennessee allows 4.5 yards per carry, which is tied for the 11th most in the NFL. While the Titans’ run offense is clearly more talented. The question is will they be able to find success against a stout Colts defense?
