Best NBA Bets and Player Props

76ers Moneyline (-150) Over Raptors

Philadelphia has turned what was expected to be a classic series into a sweep, as the 76ers have absolutely dominated Toronto on both ends of the floor. The Raptors had their chances in Game 3, but Joel Embiid drained a 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds left in overtime to give the 76ers a commanding 3-0 lead. Philadelphia is given a 57% chance of winning the game by OddsShopper.

The Sixers have shot over 50 % from the field in each of the first three games and are averaging 115.3 points on 51.3% shooting from the field. They are also making 14.3 3-pointers at a 46.3% clip. Embiid has posted 30-point double-doubles in each of the last two games and has now scored at least 30 points in four of his six appearances against the Raptors this year. Meanwhile, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris have combined to average 46 points, six 3-pointers, 15 rebounds and seven assists a game in the series.

While the 76ers have thrived offensively, it has been their work on the defensive end and glass that has been the most impressive. The Sixers have held the Raptors to 45.1% shooting from the field in the series as they have limited the effectiveness of Pascal Siakam and completely handcuffed Fred VanVleet. VanVleet is averaging just 16.7 points on 35.4% shooting from the field and 33.3% from the 3-point line. They are outrebounding Toronto by seven boards a game as they have limited the Raptors to just 10 offensive rebounds a game. Toronto ranked second in the league during the regular season with 13.4 offensive caroms a game.

Jazz vs. Mavericks Over 212.5 Points

The point total seems too low. Six of the seven matchups between these two teams this season have seen at least 214 points scored. Moreover, the fewest points between the Jazz and Mavericks in three games at Vivint Arena is 223. The Mavs defeated the Jazz 126-118 in Utah to take a 2-1 series lead on Thursday.

Utah was the most efficient offensive team during the regular season as they posted a league- best 118.4 rating at home. The Jazz shot a scolding hot 56.7% from the field in Game 3 and Donovan Mitchell topped the 30-point plateau for the third straight game. While Mitchell hasn’t been very efficient, Bojan Bogdanovic has shot the ball extremely well (57 FG%) and is averaging over 21 points a game. Perhaps even better news is that Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert got involved in the offense the last game. The Jazz are shooting 48.7% from the field for the series.

Meanwhile, Dallas has been absolutely terrific offensively. Jalen Brunson has led the way with 32 points a contest on 50.7% on 41.2% from deep.  The Mavericks have not shot the ball particularly well overall, but they are averaging nearly 17 treys a contest while shooting them at a 40.5% clip as Maxi Kleber and Reggie Bullock has shot the ball tremendously well. Plus, the Mavs may get Luka Doncic (questionable) back this game.
