Week 11 Monday Night Football NFL Picks + NFL Odds Boosts To Watch | Rams vs Buccaneers

When it comes to NFL betting, there is often few better wagers to gamble on than NFL odds boosts. They are bets that are exactly what they sound like: promotions from sportsbooks that move the odds in your favor on certain bets. Most of them are the specific prop bets that you might be searching for by yourself, and oftentimes the odds are fairly enticing. Rarely can you make a lot of money on these bets because of limits, but our job is to highlight the best NFL prop bets and NFL picks to wager on every weeks. We scour the internet trying to find the best NFL odds boosts for you every day from every sport. Today, we focus on the Week 11 Monday Night Football showdown between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Rams.

I was very disappointed by the odds boosts offered by the sportsbooks for this matchup because so many of them focus on the Tampa Bay offense. This is not meant as a disrespect to the Buccaneers’ offense, but this Rams’ defense is very good. They do not rank second in points allowed and first in yards allowed per game for nothing, and they have been exceptional recently. Since Buffalo scored 35 points in Week 3, the Rams defense has not allowed more than 24 points in the next six games (Miami scored once on defense and once on special teams).

Tampa Bay has recently picked on Las Vegas and Carolina’s defense while struggling against Chicago, the Giants and New Orleans. Tom Brady could easily lead the Buccaneers to hit all of these odds boosts, but the Rams have the defense that can cause plenty of issues for Tampa Bay. Therefore, I finally settled on a pair that seemed the most reasonable of the bunch to hit tonight.

Week 11 Monday Night Football NFL Picks + NFL Odds Boosts

NFL Picks: Tom Brady & Jared Goff 2+ Touchdown Passes Each (+160 DraftKings)

I’m honestly not sure either quarterback can get to two touchdown passes tonight. The Rams have allowed just nine touchdown passes, the fewest in the league, and Goff has thrown just 13, 22nd most in the league. However, I’m confident about Brady doing it because of his former backup, Jimmy Garoppolo. The 49ers quarterback threw three first-half touchdowns against Los Angeles in Week 6 to lead San Francisco to a victory. The Buccaneers have a stronger rushing presence than Seattle, so that should help Brady can replicate Garoppolo’s performance instead of Russell Wilson‘s two-interception, zero-touchdown day last week against the Rams.

The Rams want to run the football, but Tampa Bay has the second-best rushing defense in the league. The Rams actually are a good passing team and rank 11th in passing yards, but Goff just has finishes drives by handing off the ball instead of throwing it. That can change around the goal line today with how well Tampa Bay has defended the run. There should be plenty of chances for Goff to go play-action in the red zone and be able to use his talented receivers to get open for touchdowns. This might even be a good spot for Tyler Higbee or Cooper Kupp to utilize the open space in the middle of the field for some scores in this Monday Night Football matchup.

NFL Picks: Cooper Kupp or Mike Evans Scores First Touchdown (+650 FanDuel)

Kupp hasn’t caught a touchdown pass since Week 4, which is surprising considering Kupp is the most targeted receiver on the team and leads the Rams in receptions and yards. The easier answer to this is Goff hasn’t thrown many touchdown passes this season, but this might be the day for that to change. The Rams won’t spread out the Buccaneers like the Saints did two weeks ago, but Goff is a talented quarterback who can throw the ball around the field. Kupp has the speed and elusiveness to catch passes over the middle and challenge the Tampa Bay defense. If Goff is going to throw touchdown passes, Kupp will likely be on the end of one of them.

For those who think Evans will catch the first touchdown pass, you can get that prop bet at +920 odds at DraftKings. If Tampa Bay does score the first touchdown, though, Evans should be on the receiving end. He has caught a touchdown in seven of the Buccaneers’ 10 games this season, and he’s had at least seven targets in six games this season, including a season-high 11 last week against Carolina. The Rams are allowing the fewest passing touchdowns in the league, but Evans has the size to make a difference in the red zone.
