Week 15 Saturday Night Football NFL Picks + Odds Boosts To Watch | Josh Allen + Aaron Rodgers

When it comes to NFL betting, there are often few better wagers to gamble on than NFL odds boosts. They are bets that are exactly what they sound like: Promotions from sportsbooks that move the odds in your favor on certain bets. Most of them are the specific prop bets that you might be searching for by yourself, and oftentimes the odds are fairly enticing. Rarely can you make a lot of money on these bets because of limits, but our job is to highlight the best NFL prop bets and NFL picks to wager on every weeks. We scour the internet trying to find the best NFL odds boosts for you every day from every sportsbook. There is an interesting doubleheader of action on this Saturday as the Buffalo Bills travel to Denver to face the Broncos and the Green Bay Packers welcome the Carolina Panthers to Lambeau Field.

These two games are about the two quarterbacks that could potentially be in the MVP conversation this year — Buffalo’s Josh Allen and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers. Both of them are facing favorable matchups in these special Saturday games and have chances to show off for a national television offense. The sportsbooks have responded with very generous NFL prop bet odds on the success these two might have today individually and as a team. We’ll go over why Allen and Rodgers are poised to have big games, and what that will mean for both teams as heavy favorites today.

Week 15 Saturday Night Football NFL Odds, Picks & Prop Bets

NFL Picks: Josh Allen 3+ Touchdowns (+160 PointsBet)

There might not be a more ideal matchup for Allen and this surging Bills offense than a depleted Denver secondary. The Broncos are struggling for bodies at cornerback and they are down to a rookie, a player they just signed off Baltimore’s practice squad this week and someone they claimed off waivers last month. Overall, that is not a good sign for a defense trying to contain Stefon Diggs and the fourth-best passing offense in the league. Allen has shown over the last few weeks that he can be efficient and accurate with his throws as he’s dissected defenses. Pittsburgh’s defense presented a problem in the first half last week, but in the second half, Allen was able to move the ball seemingly at will through the air in leading the Bills to consecutive touchdown drives.

Allen has thrown for multiple touchdowns in four of his last five games and he’s run for two touchdowns over that same span as well. The common theme among those four games were he threw at least 30 times in all four of those contests while he had to throw just 24 times to beat the Chargers. Allen is a threat to run the ball if the coverage is good in the red zone or if he just decides to bulldoze his way into the end zone on the goal line. But he also has a chance to use Diggs and Gabriel Davis in deep-ball situations to stretch this Denver defense. If not, he could exploit Beasley in the slot against the Broncos nickel cornerback, who is a converted safety. The options are seemingly endless for a confident Allen and a Bills team eager to secure their first division title in 25 years.

NFL Picks: Aaron Rodgers 300+ Yards & 3+ Passing Touchdowns (+225 DraftKings)

Rodgers has thrown for at least 290 yards in six of his last seven games, including three 300-yard games in that span, so he’ll definitely be close to the total today. He’s also thrown at least three touchdowns in seven of the last eight contests, including the last four as the Packers have taken control of the race for the NFC’s top seed. Since Nov. 1, the Packers have scored 28 touchdowns, but only five of those have come on the ground, so the running game isn’t finishing drives for Green Bay recently. Rodgers and Davante Adams have connected for at least one touchdown in eight straight games and Robert Tonyan has caught a touchdown in each of the last four, so Rodgers is definitely utilizing his weapons effectively.

He is also facing a surprisingly good matchup against this Carolina defense, a strength of the team over the last decade. There was a blip in the radar in Week 11 when Carolina shut out Detroit and held Matthew Stafford to less than 200 passing yards, but otherwise it’s been a mess for the Panthers in the last five games. Three of those quarterbacks — Tom Brady, Kirk Cousins and Patrick Mahomes — threw for 300 yards against this secondary, and the fourth was Drew Lock, who threw for 280 yards last week. That is not the track record of a team that is going to be able to slow down Rodgers and this Packers passing attack. The Panthers rank 23rd in passing defense and have allowed 23 passing touchdowns while coming down with just five interceptions.

NFL Picks: Bills & Packers Win By 7+ Points (+300 DraftKings)

We’ll start with the first game of the day in Denver where the Bills are favorites to win and clinch the AFC East. This is a great matchup for Allen and the Buffalo offense as I noted above, but it’s also about a much-improved defense against this Denver offense. The Broncos still rank 29th in scoring offense and both of their running backs enter the game with questionable designations on the injury report. Denver could exploit some of the weaknesses in the Buffalo rushing defense to stay competitive, but the Bills have won their last three games by double digits against better competition and it’s hard to imagine this Broncos offense being able to match the Bills score-for-score in this game.

The Packers rank in the middle of the league in terms of scoring defense, but it should get a reprieve a bit against the Panthers. Carolina has struggled offensively without Christian McCaffrey and those issues were compounded when D.J. Moore was placed of the COVID/Reserve List. Moore should return to the field, giving Teddy Bridgewater more options in the passing game, but Bridgewater has to duel with Aaron Rodgers. The Green Bay quarterback is leading the league’s second-best passing offense by yards and has thrown the most touchdowns in the NFL this season. Green Bay has won its last three by seven points or more, and I expect the Packers will run away from the Panthers early then hold on to cover in the fourth quarter.
