Having a variety of viewpoints and data points can be both a curse and a blessing. This column will sift through all the data and top picks from the four statistical angles that make up PGA DFS. The swing season continues this week with another international event, the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. There are 130 players scheduled to tee it up this week, with the winner getting well over $1 million. This is the third year the tournament has been held at this course, so there are a few years of course history.
PGA DFS Data Deep Dive | The Bermuda Championship
Recent Form
Hayden Buckley was staring down no status on any tour, let alone the PGA Tour, just 12 weeks ago, but a life-changing second place propelled him to the big stage. He then turned that into two top-10s in his first few starts on tour, including one top-five, which has vaulted him up to the top of the reshuffle board. When he is off, though, it gets rough, as he has two missed cuts mixed in with his five top-10s over the last 12 weeks. Only Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Stephan Jaeger, Sahith Theegala and Vincent Whaley have three or more top-10s over the time span. Eight others in the field have finished in the top 10 at least twice: Matthias Schwab, Adam Hadwin, David Lipsky, Chad Ramey, Seth Reeves, Callum Tarren, Harry Hall and David Skinns.
Another name that has found himself in a good stretch of golf is Patrick Rodgers, who has four top-25s in his last seven starts, but his other three starts that were not in the top 25 were all missed cuts, so it has been a bit of feast or famine. Lastly, Bezuidenhout and Taylor Pendtrith are the only two golfers in the field with at least four starts in the last 12 weeks that have made the cut in all of them.
Negative Recent Form
It has been all famine lately for a handful of players, including Hank Lebioda, Scot Brown and Matt Every. None of them have made a cut here in the last 12 weeks.

Course History
There are only two years of history at this event, but 29 of the 130 golfers expected to compete have teed it up in both years. Ryan Armour and David Hearn are two of three golfers with two top-10s here, coming in eighth both years. That pales in comparison to Brian Gay’s performance in Bermuda, as he has come in third and first in those two years. Kramer Hickock, Denny McCarthy, Russell Knox, Beau Hossler and Lebioda have all come in the top 26 in each of the two years here. A few golfers have not made the cut in either of the two years it has been played here, including Kevin Stanley and Bo Van Pelt.
