Round 4 PGA DFS Picks: The RBC Heritage

Previous Round Recap

Those hoping for a fast start from Tyrrell Hatton got one, as he birdied three of his first four. But those would be the only three birdies he would make on the day, and he wound up shooting 2 over. He was one of the few to score poorly, though, as again, the changes to the course have made it significantly easier than in years past.

The big mover from the back of the pack was pre-tournament favorite Webb Simpson, who entered the Day 3 under and left at 10 under after a bogey-free 64. He had the best score of the day, while Christiaan Bezuidenhout’s double bogey on the par-3 14th derailed his fantastic start. He and Matt Wallace had 65s, creeping closer to Stewart Cink. But Cink’s lead is too big, and his closest competitor heading into the third round, Corey Conners, failed to get anything going,

Collin Morikawa was the second competitor to get to 13 under, and that’s where he and Emiliano Grillo finished the day. They will both try and chase down Cink, who looks unflappable right now. Other notables with good rounds on Sunday, all shooting 5-under 66, include Daniel Berger, Kevin Streelman and Maverick McNealy.

Quick Hitter Round 3 Stat Recap

A handful of golfers mentioned above were able to gain strokes in all four categories in Round 3:

  1. Webb Simpson
  2. Matt Wallace
  3. Daniel Berger

The RBC Heritage PGA DFS Picks

There may be a passing rain shower in the morning, but the wind looks to be mild all day. Remember, golfers will be assigned finishing points based on their position after the final round.

PGA DFS Picks for Round 4 of The RBC Heritage

  • Stewart Cink ($8,700): Using his son as his caddie has been absolutely career-changing for Cink, and he is in a position to win his second golf tournament in a matter of eight months. That would be two more than Tony Finau and Xander Schauffele, some of the highest-ranked players in the world. Cink has done it in all facets this week, gaining strokes just about everywhere, with an emphasis on his approach game. Another under-par round would have this tournament in the bag.
  • Sungjae Im ($9,500): Im has impressed many people this week, having missed the cut each of the first two times at this course and coming in with terrible form after a blowout missed cut at Augusta. That kept him under the radar basically all week, and yet he is in a position for another big finish.
  • Russell Henley ($7,900): A late double on the 17th hole after a debacle around the green cost Henley a shot at a big finish tomorrow. He was bogey-free up to that point as well, showing just how good he seems to be striking. Use the lower ownership on Henley tomorrow and hope to get a 6-under, bogey-free round, which should get him into the top 10 and maybe top five.

Sneaky PGA DFS Pick for Round 4

  • Danny Willett ($6,200): While Hatton didn’t work out yesterday, Tom Lewis put together another solid round, shooting 4-under 67. He sets up as the min price for tomorrow’s slate, so people will click his name a bit more than they did yesterday. Instead, go to Willett, who sprung to form today with his irons and gained over 3.3 on the round.

DraftKings and FanDuel The RBC Heritage Lineup Fill-Ins

  • Daniel Berger ($8,800)
  • Christiaan Bezuidenhout ($7,400)
  • Alex Noren ($6,300)
  • Tom Lewis ($6,000)
