Round 4 PGA DFS Picks: The Zurich Classic
Previous Rounds Recap
As the forecast called for, winds were high and gusty all day. It even picked up throughout the day, helping this tournament stay really tight. Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen made some big putts late and take a one-shot lead into Sunday. This format always lends the best in the world to be more aggressive, leading to some highlights on the course. Sam Ryder had an albatross and Keith Mitchell had back-to-back eagles. This likely won’t be the case tomorrow, as an alternate shot will much more difficult than today. Adding more intrigue to the final round, many pre-tournament favorites have a chance to win, which doesn’t typically happen. The format and the leaderboard should make for a very compelling day.
Looking back to Friday, where the alternate shot was played, Cameron Champ/Tony Finau and Henrik Stenson,/Justin Rose had the best score of -4. Sitting just 2 back from the lead is Scottie Scheffler/Bubba Watson and Kristoffer Ventura/Viktor Hovland. Both shot 3-under 69 on Friday.

The Zurich Classic PGA DFS Picks
With just 33 teams to choose from, there aren’t many ways to go against the grain. But since positional points are allocated to players tomorrow, targeting teams down the leaderboard will lead to lower ownership. Gamers can stack Cantlay/Schauffele as the one true against-the-grain play for tomorrow.
PGA DFS Picks for Round 4 of The Zurich ClassicÂ
- Bubba Watson/Scottie Scheffler ($9,800): Having played well in all three formats, this team has as good a chance as any to win tomorrow. They also look like they have a ton of fun doing it, making for quite the lively pair.
- Keegan Bradley/Brendan Steele ($8,500): Two golfers that rely almost entirely on their tee-to-green game seem to blend quite well. The problem is one of them has to putt in an alternate shot, and that did hold them back a bit on Friday. But at least they do not cost top dollar and are still one of the best ball-striking teams in the tournament.
- Justin Suh/Doug Ghim ($7,300): There’s no point in fading them now. They got super hot on Friday in this format before a couple of bogeys and a double derailed them, but knowing they can do it should give them the confidence to maintain good standing in this tournament. Plus, they provide nice salary flexibility as the third team in.
Sneaky PGA DFS Pick for Round 4
- Sepp Straka/Josh Teater ($6,600): Straka and Teater had one of the best rounds from golfers that went out early, setting the pace with a solid 65 on Saturday. That got them into a position where if they can shoot under par, or maybe even a couple under par as they did on Friday, that could get them into the top 10.
DraftKings and FanDuel Fill-Ins for Zurich Classic
- Tyrrell Hatton/Danny Willett ($8,000)
- Matt Wallace/Graeme McDowell ($7,700)
