He’s also had some solid success around Augusta in his first two trips, coming in 26th and 13th.

Erik van Rooyen

- Quick Notes: Things certainly moved quickly for van Rooyen, who was on the verge of not qualifying for the FedEx Cup playoffs, before a win at the Barracuda propelled him in. Then two good finishes in the first two playoff events, and he wound up qualifying for the Tour Championship. That gets him here and a chance to avenge his pitiful performance a few years ago where he withdrew.
Padraig Harrington

- Quick Notes: Quite possibly the biggest surprise golfer in the field, as Harrington scored an incredible fourth-place finish at the 2021 PGA Championship. This will be his first trip back since 2015, when he missed the cut. It’s been a decade since Harrington has been in the top 10 at the event.
