Tournament Update:
DraftKings is offering $2,000 to first place for today’s Round Three slate and 1K for the Weekend Long Slate. I suspect lock time for the slate will be 1PM EST.Â
Saturday WeatherÂ
“Swails” of rain and wind gave the golfers fit’s on Friday, and will likely come again Saturday.

PGA DFS Round ThreeÂ
The first three holes played treacherously yet again, with only nine combined birdies, thru the first two rounds. Today’s round added an extra element with the wind and rain, making the non-scoring holes, well not scorable. 14-16 represent close to 30% of the DK scoring and add in the 5th hole, and you’ve got 48% of the DK scoring on just four holes.
Patrick Reed continued his hot play, ending yesterday on a tear, and picking up right where he left off. He gained two strokes tee to green, a five-stroke difference vs. round one. Chez Reavie, JB Holmes & Dustin Johnson all gained at least four more strokes tee to green in round two than they did in round one showing a bit of life.
Jim Herman’s day on the greens wasn’t much better than round one, still averaging almost three shots lost over his first two rounds, while gaining just about three-quarters of a stroke ball striking. Corey Conners, Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele, & Graeme Mcdowell round out the ball strikers vs. bad putting.
Round two saw a few standout putting performances, Patrick Reed is one of them, gaining another 3.93, for a two day total of over seven strokes. Wow. Gary Woodland found the stroke in round two gaining 3.42 in the round, the only two golfers to gain over three for the round.

PGA DFS Round Two Showdown PicksÂ
Top-10 Pick
Xander Schauffele ($9,800)
I’m sure this will end up being the curse, but Xander has played over 50 holes of bogey-free golf around the Kapalua Plantation Course. He’s done it with stellar play both on and off the green, showing just how well this course fits him, and how good of form he’s in. He’s hit the most greens this week as well, tied with Joaquin Niemann. In terms of an against the grain play out of the top 10, it could be that gamers end up fading Justin Thomas and or Jon Rahm and apt for a more balanced build with Schuaffele Niemann and Rickie Fowler. I also like Nate Lashley quite a bit who put together back to back good rounds but only has six birdies through two rounds.
PGA DFS Stud or Value Pick outside of Top-10
Dustin Johnson ($10,200)
The first round was his driver, and the second was the putter that failed him. The third is his round, where it all comes together. This is known as his playground, and it was good to see the tee to green game bounce back. Graeme Mcdowell had a great bounce-back, finding gold with his irons, gaining over 2.5 for the second round. He’ll likely be a trendy cheap option.
Sneaky Pick Outside of Top 10
???
This is a tough one, as it’s tough to get sneaky with the bottom of the leaderboard playing so poorly. No one except Jim Herman is gaining anything tee to green. Even Keith Mitchell who holed out from 25o yards on 17 today. Sung Kang is still there with another four birdies today, so by default, I think we go with him… J.B. Holmes managed to find something out there today in the harsher conditions, so many that warrants a few looks at min price.
PGA DFS Lineup Fill-InsÂ
Patrick Cantlay ($8,700)
Chez Reavie ($8,200)
J.B. Holmes ($6,000)
