Adam Svensson ($21)
Svensson is the first of two golfers with $21 salaries this week and coming off great performances at the Sony Open. Svensson makes it back to the PGA Tour after going through the Korn Ferry Tour and is using a strong ball-striking game to power his results. He has also competed in this tournament once back in 2018 and came in 18th.
Michael Thompson ($21)
The new bearded wonder, Michael Thompson, is riding the extra attention to solid play and a great result last week in Hawaii. Add together the solid play, the superb new beard, good history here at the American Express and two top-10s in the last three years, and it makes for a solid play at any salary. And since he is basically the minimum this week, Thompson is almost a must-roster when building stars-and-scrubs lineups.
