Christian Kirk - Week 13 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk has seen his opportunities increase the last three weeks with the absence of DeAndre Hopkins. Unfortunately, quarterback Kyler Murray has also been missing leaving Kirk and the rest of the receiving corps struggling to connect with backup quarterbacks. With both Murray and Hopkins carrying questionable tags once again going into their Week 13 matchup against the Chicago Bears, fantasy managers may have to wait until kickoff to know what to expect from Kirk and the Cardinal offense. Facing a Bears defense that is giving up the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, Kirk could have WR2 upside with a healthy Murray and no Hopkins. If Hopkins returns however, Kirk will revert to his weekly flex status.

Christian Kirk - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk has quietly become a reliable weekly starter in 2021. Entering Week 11 as WR20 in PPR leagues, Kirk has had double-digit fantasy points in seven of the Cardinals' 10 games this season. With quarterback Kyler Murray absent the past two weeks, Kirk has still managed to produce 13 catches for 149 yards with backup quarterbacks. This week, Kirk and the Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks, who are ranked 14th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. If Murray is back in the lineup, Kirk should make for a fine WR2. However, if fellow wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins also makes his return, Kirk may find himself back to being a secondary option in the Cardinal passing game and a flex option for fantasy purposes.

Christian Kirk Leads Cardinals In Receiving In Loss To Panthers

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk led the team in targets, catches and receiving yards in a game in which the offense struggled to get anything going with two backup quarterbacks. Kirk finished with seven catches for 58 yards, his second straight game leading the team in receiving yards in the absence of DeAndre Hopkins. The offense will hopefully get a boost next week with the possible return of quarterback Kyler Murray, leading to even more production from Kirk. If Hopkins misses more time, Kirk could find himself in the WR2 discussion with a healthy Murray back in the lineup. If Hopkins returns, Kirk will go back to his role as a WR3 with upside.

Christian Kirk Adds Another Touchdown In Week 7

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk finished Week 7 against the Texans by hauling in four of his five targets for 50 yards. He also scored a touchdown, catching a five-yard toss from Kyler Murray late in the second quarter. Kirk now has a trip to the end zone in each of the last two games and has established himself as the clear-cut No. 2 wideout behind DeAndre Hopkins. While he isn't a lock to produce from week to week, he's done enough to warrant consideration for any fantasy set up for the Thursday night showdown against the Green Bay Packers.

Christian Kirk - Week 7 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk caught 5-of-8 for 75 yards and a touchdown in last Sunday's 37-14 win over the Cleveland Browns. This season, the 24-year-old has been solid as the Cardinals WR2, hauling in 26 catches for 358 yards and three touchdowns over six games. He owns 17% of the team's target shares and 12.8 air yards per target. The Texans allow 28.7 points per game and 391.2 total yards of offense to opposing teams, seventh-worst in the league. Kirk is a low-end WR3 and is a solid flex play in a plus matchup against the Texans in Week 7.

Christian Kirk Plays Well During Win Over Cleveland

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk accounted for one of Kyler Murray's four touchdown tosses during the win over Cleveland on Sunday. Kirk had five catches for 75 yards, and he pulled in a 21-yard throw from Murray in the first quarter for the inaugural score of the day. The 24-year-old is arguably the second-best wideout on the team, and although it would be nice if he found the end zone a little more, his ability to rack up some serious yardage from week to week shouldn't be dismissed. He has a fantastic chance to build on to what has already been an impressive 2021-22 season against the Texans in Week 7. Fantasy managers in all formats should keep him going.

Oct 11th · 02:17 AM
Christian Kirk Plays Better In Week 5

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk had five catches for 39 yards during the win over the 49ers on Sunday. Kirk struggled in Week 4 against the Rams, but it wasn't a matter of if, but when he would get back on track. The 24-year-old has now been targeted 14 times throughout the last three weeks. However, with so many mouths to feed in the desert, it is logical to assume that fantasy managers may have to deal with some off weeks. Still, he should always be considered a starting option in deeper fantasy formats unless he consistently falls flat on his face moving ahead.

Oct 9th · 02:39 AM
Christian Kirk - Week 5 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk had only one catch for five yards during the Week 4 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. However, entering Week 5, the 24-year-old will look to put that disastrous performance behind him against the 49ers. Still, despite his inefficient showing against L.A., Kirk remains second on the team in receiving yards and also has two touchdowns to his credit this season. With James Conner (personal) and Chase Edmonds (shoulder) in danger of missing Sunday's matchup against San Francisco, Kirk has an excellent chance to get even more involved, mainly since Kyler Murray may be forced to throw more often than usual. DeAndre Hopkins has also struggled over the last few weeks, so Kirk may have to pick up the slack, which will only increase his stock even more. As a result, fantasy managers in all setups should classify him as a must-start.

Christian Kirk Finishes With Over 100 Yards On Sunday

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk finished with a team-high eight targets during the win over Jacksonville on Sunday, catching seven passes for 104 yards. Week 3 marked Kirk's best game of the year as he nearly had more catches in this one than in the first two games combined. Although the 24-year-old will likely concede targets occasionally to DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore, and A.J. Green moving forward, he should remain starting in all fantasy formats based on the upside alone. The Cards' high-powered passing approach should raise his ceiling even higher during the Week 4 showdown against the undefeated Los Angeles Rams. Without a doubt, fantasy managers need to keep him going, mainly because it should be a shootout.

Sep 22nd · 05:14 PM
Christian Kirk Has Favorable Week 3 Matchup

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk cooled off after his Week 1 performance. In Week 2, he saw four targets, recording three catches for 65 yards. In Week 3, he will face a Jacksonville Jaguars defense that gave up 216 yards to the Broncos wide receivers last Sunday. Kirk is currently listed as the WR3 on the team's depth chart. DeAndre Hopkins, Chase Edmondsand Rondale Moore could see more targets than Kirk, but Kirk's explosiveness keeps him as a borderline flex option in deeper leagues in this explosive offense. He has averaged 17.8 yards per catch in the first two weeks.

Sep 20th · 04:06 AM
Christian Kirk Has Another Acceptable Performance

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk pulled in three of his four targets for 65 yards during the win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Although the 24-year-old didn't find the end zone like some of his comrades, it was another strong showing from the former Aggie, who now has eight catches for 135 yards and two scores on the season. With Kyler Murray playing at an MVP level, it's ideal that managers continue to utilize Kirk's fantasy services moving ahead, including during the upcoming Week 3 matchup against the Jaguars.

Sep 16th · 09:32 PM
Christian Kirk Has Favorable Matchup In Week 2

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk will look to build on his big Week 1 performance. The Cardinals will host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 after the Bengals wide receivers totaled 196 yards in the season opener against the Vikes. Kirk had five catches on five targets in Week 1, but he made the most out of his opportunity. He finished the game with 70 yards and two touchdowns. Kirk has a favorable matchup in Week 2, as the offense will look to get it going early and often. If Kirk sees more targets than A.J. Green in Week 2, it would seem that Kirk will slip back to the WR3/4 mix on a weekly basis in this high-scoring offense. Kirk should be considered a flex option against the Vikings.

Sep 12th · 10:39 PM
Christian Kirk Makes The Most Of His Targets

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk caught five passes on five targets for 70 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-13 win against the Tennessee Titans. Kirk was listed asDeAndre Hopkins' backup on the depth chart, with A.J. Green and rookie Rondale Moore ahead of him. However, Kirk proved his worth in Week 1, and moving forward, he will likely share targets with Moore and running backChase Edmonds. The Cardinals will host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. The Vikings defense gave up touchdowns to receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Expect Kirk, Hopkins and Moore to see plenty of opportunities to find the end zone against the Vikings.

Sep 11th · 05:41 PM
Christian Kirk's Targets May Be Low In Favorable Matchup

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk seems to have slipped on the depth chart with the additions of rookieRondale Moore and veteranA.J. Green. However, in a favorable matchup against Tennessee in Week 1, he should be considered a flex option in deeper leagues. Quarterback Kyler Murray will look to throw the ball more often than not in Week 1 due to the high-powered Titans offense that will look to put up points early and often. Kirk is ranked 72nd among wide receivers for Week 1. He had a couple of strong performances last season, totaling six touchdowns. Overall, he did not perform to the level that the team expected, securing 48 catches for 621 yards. With more options for Murray this season, Kirk will be inconsistent flex option in deeper leagues, barring injury to those ahead of him on the depth chart.

Jul 7th · 12:38 AM
Don't Sleep On Christian Kirk

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk could be in for a breakout season in 2021 as he picks up some of Larry Fitzgerald's targets and overall production next to All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins. Kirk could be a great complement to Hopkins and better than aging pass-catcher A.J. Green while playing from the slot. The 24-year-old also has really good chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray, so that will also help. Fitzgerald saw 100-plus targets out of the slot in two of the last three years under head coach Kliff Kingsbury, so Kirk could outperform his expectations and then some this year. Kirk will be drafted as more of a WR4/5 because of his inconsistency up to this point, but he has the potential to outperform his current ADP and be a fantasy steal.

Christian Kirk On COVID List

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk is on the COVID-19 list and will not play Sunday in a must-win game against that Los Angeles Rams. With Larry Fitzgerald (groin) unlikely to play as well and quarterback Kyler Murray (leg) likely to be limited, the Cardinals passing attack could be in some trouble. With Kirk out, we could potentially see more of Andy Isabella this week, if you're looking for someone to throw a dart at in DFS lineups.

Christian Kirk Not Worth Starting In Week 17

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk turned in his best outing in a long time in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers. He caught seven of his 10 targets for 76 yards in the game. It was the first time he'd topped 50 receiving yards in a game since Week 9. This week, Kirk and the Cardinals face the Los Angeles Rams, who have the league's top pass defense, allowing just 192.3 passing yards per game. Kirk could see his workload increase if DeAndre Hopkins (hip) is sidelined for the game. Hopkins is currently questionable. However, that scenario would likely lead to Kirk having a tough matchup against one of the league's top corners, Jalen Ramsey. Kirk isn't someone worth taking a chance on in Week 17.

Christian Kirk Racks Up Seven Catches In Week 16

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk caught seven of his 10 targets for 76 yards in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers. He led the team in receiving yards in the game and was second to only DeAndre Hopkins in targets. This was Kirk's best outing in quite some time and his seven catches were a season-high. Overall, it's been a disappointing year for Kirk. He flashed solid WR2/WR3 numbers for a month-long stretch in the middle of the season, but outside that stretch, he's been extremely quiet.

Dec 23rd · 03:00 PM
Christian Kirk Can't Be Trusted In Championship Week

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk is in the midst of a long cold streak. He's failed to score a touchdown in six straight and has only reached 50 receiving yards once over that stretch. This week, the Cardinals face the San Francisco 49ers, who have one of the league's top pass defenses, allowing just 209.9 passing yards per game. The Cardinals will lean heavily on DeAndre Hopkins this week. Kirk may end up second on the team in targets, but he's failed to do much with that target share over the past month or so. He can remain on waivers in all leagues and isn't worth considering as a starting option in any formats in Week 16.

Dec 21st · 04:22 AM
Christian Kirk Gains Just 33 Yards In Week 15

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk had another quiet outing in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Kirk caught three of his four targets for 33 yards this week. The most disappointing factor of Kirk's performance was that Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray threw for 406 yards in the game and Kirk was still unable to deliver. DeAndre Hopkins was the focal point of the passing game with nine catches for 169 yards and a touchdown. Kirk has been in a rut over the past month and a half and should be left on waivers in all leagues.

Dec 17th · 01:34 PM
Christian Kirk Not A Starting Option In Week 15

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk has caught just seven passes for 35 yards over his past three games. The Cardinals passing game has struggled significantly lately. The only Cardinals receiver who is a safe starting option in fantasy is DeAndre Hopkins, who has dominated targets with 24 over his past two games. Kirk had a burst of fantasy relevance over a stretch in the middle of the season when the Cardinals offense was clicking, but since then, he's been extremely quiet. He simply can't be trusted in Week 15 as the team faces the Philadelphia Eagles. Kirk can be left on waivers in all leagues.

Dec 13th · 10:33 PM
Christian Kirk Gains Just 14 Yards In Week 14

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk continued his recent struggles in Week 14 against the New York Giants. Kirk caught three of his four targets for just 14 yards in the game. DeAndre Hopkinscarried the Cardinals passing game with nine catches for 136 yards while tight end Dan Arnold caught the team's only touchdown pass in the game. Kirk is in the midst of an extended slump right now and can't be trusted in any fantasy leagues until he gets out of it.

Dec 10th · 05:37 PM
Try To Avoid Christian Kirk In Week 14

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk had a complete dud of a performance against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13, catching just one of his three targets for two yards. He hasn't had a strong fantasy performance since Week 9 against the Miami Dolphins, when he caught five passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. The Cardinals face the New York Giants this week and will likely have Larry Fitzgerald (COVID) back on the field after a two-game absence. Fitzgerald's presence should help the team, but it will also take some targets away from Kirk. While there's a chance that Kirk turns things around soon, it's tough to bank on and it's advisable that you find other alternatives to turn to in Week 14.

Dec 7th · 01:48 AM
Christian Kirk Has Just One Catch In Week 13

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk was nearly non-existent in the team's Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Kirk caught just one of his three targets for two yards in the game. It was a poor showing overall for the Cardinals passing game as quarterback Kyler Murray only threw for 173 yards. Kirk is in the midst of a serious slump that has coincided with a rough stretch from Murray. He has shown the ability to be a solid WR3, but can't be trusted in fantasy leagues until he gets out of this rut.

Dec 3rd · 09:18 PM
Christian Kirk May Stay Cold In Week 13

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk has been extremely quiet over his past three games. His struggles have come alongside a cold streak from Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray. This week, Kirk and the Cardinals face the Los Angeles Rams, who have one of the league's top pass defenses. The Cardinals No. 1 receiver DeAndre Hopkins will likely be shadowed by star cornerback Jalen Ramsey in the game, so Kirk could be counted on more than usual, but that doesn't mean things will be easy for him. Kirk has seen exactly six targets in each of his past three games. He should see at least six targets this week, which gives him the potential to deliver a solid WR3 week, but he certainly has downside risk attached to him as shown from his past three games.

Are NFL Trade Rumor Covered in the Player News?
Yes! As you can see from this Julio Jones write up from his player page, we updated his news section as soon as the news broke.
“The Atlanta Falcons are not expected to trade quarterback Matt Ryan this offseason, according to sources. “The Falcons have not had any trade conversations about Ryan or their star wide receiver Julio Jones. And every expectation is both players are going to be on the roster in 2021,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. New head coach Arthur Smith plans to run a similar offense to the one Kyle Shanahan used when Ryan won MVP in 2016. Atlanta would be on the hook for more than $44 million in dead money in 2021 if they traded Ryan before June 1. Atlanta may decide to take Ryan’s heir-apparent at No. 4 overall in the draft, but the 35-year-old signal-caller is expected to stay put for at least another season. Ryan and Jones got it going to end the regular season and could be in line for bounce-back campaigns under Smith in 2021. Consider Ryan a midrange QB1 heading into next season.”
