Cole Beasley Finishes With One Catch

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley posted another dud performance during the Week 13 matchup versus the New England Patriots. To be fair, this wasn't really Beasley's fault since the weather was awful. The veteran wideout hauled in one of his three targets for 11 yards in the loss. Fantasy managers have seen Beasley's production declining over the last four weeks. Possibly, the return of Dawson Knox has hurt Beasley's target share. Regardless, he does have plenty of bounce back potential against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week. He'll be a boom-or-bust PPR option for that matchup.

Cole Beasley - Week 13 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has not surpassed 50 yards in any of his last four games. Possibly, the ribs issue has held him back somewhat, but Beasley isn't quite making the same impact. It's worth noting Beasley has seen five or less targets in each of his last three games. It's probably not going to get any easier for him against the New England Patriots defense in Week 13. A defense that currently ranks second in pass DVOA this season. The target share is uncertain for Beasley right now, which makes him a tough option to trust. He'll be on the WR4 radar for this Monday night matchup.

Cole Beasley Snags All Five Targets

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley is two games removed from a nine-snap week. However, he appeared back to his normal WR3 role during the Week 12 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The veteran wideout hauled in all five of his targets for 46 yards in the win. Obviously, the yardage isn't ideal, but fantasy managers in PPR formats will take this performance. Beasley has seen five or more targets in five of his last six games. That trend should continue against the New England Patriots next week. Fantasy managers should consider Beasley a WR4 in most formats for that contest.

Cole Beasley Good To Go For Thursday Night

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) was able to practice in full on Wednesday and has been removed from the final injury report for Thursday's Thanksgiving game against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. The veteran slot man has been battling through some painful ribs injuries the last few weeks, and his production has taken a hit as a result. The 32-year-old was only able to play nine offensive snaps in Week 10 (two catches for 15 yards), but he was able to do more in Week 11 when he caught four of five targets for 23 yards on 57% of the snaps. It seems as though he's getting healthier, but until we see him return to more of a full-time offensive role, Beasley will be tough to trust in PPR leagues as a WR4/flex.

Cole Beasley Practices In Full Wednesday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) was a full participant at practice on Wednesday after playing through a rib injury for multiple weeks. With the Bills passing offense a bit stagnant of late, it's possible the team looks to get Beasley more involved over the middle of the field. Emmanuel Sanders had stolen a chunk of Beasley's work early in the season, but Sanders has failed to gain as much separation of late and with Marshon Lattimore likely on Stefon Diggs, it's possible that Beasley and Dawson Knox become bigger weapons over the middle of the field.

Nov 23rd · 01:48 AM
Cole Beasley Limited On Monday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report. Beasley hasn't missed any time due to his rib injury, but it has been clear that the injury has slowed him down in recent weeks. He barely played in the second half in Week 9 after getting injured and only played nine offensive snaps in Week 10. Beasley was back up to 32 offensive snaps (57% of the total snaps) in the Week 11 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, catching four of five targets for 23 yards. The 32-year-old is one of quarterback Josh Allen's favorite targets, especially on third downs, but until we see Beasley play his usual allotment of snaps, he'll be a pretty shaky WR4/flex option in PPR leagues.

Cole Beasley Shows Improvement Against Colts

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley finished with one of his worst games of the season last week. He hauled in two receptions for 15 yards in the win. However, he put together a better performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. The veteran wideout hauled in four of his five targets for 23 yards in the loss. To be fair, none of the Bills wide receivers had much success in the yardage category this week. This is an improvement from his two-catch performance in Week 10. Fantasy managers really never know what to expect from Beasley. He should be on the WR3 radar in PPR formats for a favorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12.

Nov 20th · 05:26 PM
Cole Beasley - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has hauled in at least seven receptions in three of his last four games. The veteran wideout has been fairly reliable this season despite a few dud performances. He should continue to succeed against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. A defense that ranks 26th in pass DVOA this season. Beasley is normally heavily involved in the passing attack and this looks like a pass-heavy matchup. There's always the risk of a dud with Beasley, but he has 20 receptions over his last three games. Beasley is also nursing a ribs injury, which is part of the reason he only saw two targets last week. He should be a fine WR3 in PPR formats for this plus matchup.

Nov 20th · 01:45 AM
Cole Beasley Taken Off The Final Injury Report

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) was limited again in practice on Friday for the second straight day and was removed from the final injury report for Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. The 32-year-old veteran slot receiver will be active this weekend, but fantasy managers may want to look for better options for their WR4/flex. Beasley played a season-low 16% of the snaps in last week's win over the New York Jets and caught only two passes for 15 yards while battling through his injury. Until he proves on game day that he's past his injury and ready to play more snaps, fantasy managers should consider him a pretty risky WR4/flex. Isaiah McKenzie could see more playing time in the slot if Beasley continues to be limited.

Nov 19th · 12:51 AM
Cole Beasley Returns To Practice Thursday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) made a return to practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's session. Beasley officially was limited in practice and continues to be limited by a painful rib injury. The veteran slot man barely played in the second half of the Week 9 loss and then played a season-low 16% of the offensive snaps in the easy Week 10 victory over the New York Jets. It's clear he's fighting to stay on the field and could once again be limited in what he does if he's active this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Until we see that Beasley is past his injury on game day, consider him a very shaky WR3/flex in PPR leagues. If he remains limited, it could mean more opportunities for Gabriel Davis and slot man Isaiah McKenzie.

Nov 18th · 12:28 AM
Cole Beasley Continues To Be Monitored

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) missed practice on Wednesday while he continues to deal with a painful rib injury that limited him to a season-low nine total offensive snaps in the easy win over the New York Jets in Week 10. Before that in Week 9, the veteran slot man barely saw the field in the second half after injuring his ribs. Beasley caught both of his targets for 15 yards last Sunday and is clearly hurting. He will likely continue to play through the injury, but Isaiah McKenzie could see more reps out of the slot for Buffalo until Beasley can get past the issue. Beasley is one of quarterback Josh Allen's most trusted targets, especially on third downs, but he'll be a risky WR3/flex heading into this weekend's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Nov 15th · 10:18 PM
Cole Beasley Limited By Injury

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) played just one snap in the fourth quarter in the Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he was barely involved in the Week 10 blowout win over the New York Jets. He played a season-low 18% of the offensive snaps (11 total snaps) and didn't play a single snap in the second half. Even when backup slot receiver Isaiah McKenzie suffered an injury, Beasley remained on the sideline. The veteran pass-catcher has looked slow of late, and it could be because of his rib injury. There's a chance that the Bills look to rest Beasley in the near future to keep him fresh for a playoff run. In any case, fantasy managers should be skeptical in trusting him as a WR3/flex in PPR leagues until he proves he's past his injury.

Nov 15th · 03:32 AM
Cole Beasley Posts Dud Versus Jets

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has been an inconsistent fantasy option this season. Fantasy managers never seem to know what to expect on a weekly basis. In Week 10, Beasley hauled in both of his targets for 15 yards in the win over the New York Jets. Beasley was expected to have a productive day here, but was barely involved in the gameplan. Instead, Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis did most of the damage on Sunday. Beasley will have a good chance at rebounding against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. However, fantasy managers should start him at your own risk.

Nov 12th · 08:30 PM
Dawson Knox, Cole Beasley Will Play Against Jets

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox (hand) and wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) were taken off the final injury report for Week 10 against the New York Jets and will be active on Sunday. Knox, who had surgery to fix a fractured hand suffered in Week 6, practiced in full the last two days and should return to being a strong TE1 choice for fantasy managers. Before his injury, he had 21 catches for 286 yards and five touchdowns on 27 targets. Tommy Sweeney will revert to a backup blocking role. Beasley has just one touchdown on the season, but he's been peppered with targets (24) in the last two weeks with Buffalo's ground game struggling. The Bills probably won't have as tough a time against the Jets this weekend, but Beasley remains quarterback Josh Allen's favorite third-down target, and he'll be in the mix as a WR3/flex in PPR leagues.

Nov 11th · 09:53 PM
Cole Beasley Back On The Practice Field

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) was limited in practice on Thursday after not participating on Wednesday. Beasley barely played in the second half of the Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it's a good sign that he has returned to practice after missing just one day. With Buffalo's running game going nowhere of late, the 32-year-old slot receiver has functioned as an extension of the running game with short dump-off passes from quarterback Josh Allen. In the last two games, Beasley has 24 targets, catching 18 of them for 143 yards. He's also Allen's most trusted go-to option on third downs. Beasley has just one touchdown and is averaging only 8.7 yards per catch, but as long as he continues to be heavily targeted, he'll be a WR3/flex in PPR setups.

Nov 10th · 11:40 PM
Cole Beasley Doesn't Practice Wednesday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) did not participate in practice on Wednesday while dealing with injured ribs that caused him to miss much of the second half in the team's Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 32-year-old was basically used as an extension of the running game with Buffalo's ground attack going nowhere. He was peppered with 11 targets and caught eight of them for only 33 yards. Beasley has 24 targets in the last two games, adding up to 18 receptions for 143 yards. If he's active this weekend against the New York Jets, he'll be a WR3/flex in PPR leagues as the Bills look to bounce back from their surprising loss. If Beasley can't play or is limited, Isaiah McKenzie would be in line to see increased playing time out of the slot.

Nov 9th · 05:23 PM
Cole Beasley Dealt With Injury In The Second Half

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (undisclosed) essentially became the team's de facto running back in the Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the rushing attack not working at all. But he was playing through injury in the second half, playing only one of the team's 18 snaps in the fourth quarter. Beasley only had one catch on three targets in the second half while he finished with eight catches on 11 targets for 33 yards. If Beasley is forced to miss time, Isaiah McKenzie would likely replace him in the slot like he did for most of the fourth quarter against Jacksonville. It would also likely mean more work for Stefon Diggs and Emmanuel Sanders, but quarterback Josh Allen can ill-afford to lose his favorite third-down target.

Nov 8th · 12:21 AM
Cole Beasley Finishes With Eight Receptions

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley was heavily involved in the passing attack during the Week 9 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The veteran wideout hauled in eight of his 11 targets for 33 yards in the upset loss. Those eight receptions were a team-high, but the yardage is frustrating. The hope is that Beasley will be able to do more against the New York Jets next week. Fantasy managers should consider him a WR3 in PPR formats or a flex option for that matchup.

Nov 5th · 07:37 PM
Cole Beasley Questionable For Week 9

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) was able to return to a limited practice on Friday after two missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday, and he is questionable for the Week 9 tilt against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Based on his return to practice on Friday, we'd consider Beasley to be on the right side of questionable for an excellent matchup with the one-win Jaguars this weekend. The 32-year-old can disappear at times in this loaded offense -- he had three catches for 31 yards in a two-game span in Weeks 4 and 5 -- but he caught 10 passes for a season-high 110 yards last week against the Miami Dolphins and could have another strong game for fantasy managers against the Jaguars with tight end Dawson Knox (hand) out for at least one more game. Beasley is on the WR2/3 borderline this week if he's active.

Nov 4th · 09:19 PM
Cole Beasley Misses Practice

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) missed practice on Thursday. Beasley has had a nice season following his breakout in 2021 and was one of the keys to the Bills' win against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8 in which he amassed 110 yards. Even if Beasley plays, he's fringy enough that he should be benched if possible. Moreover, if Beasley misses, Stefon Diggs cements himself as a top five option and Emmanuel Sanders becomes an attractive start in their Week 9 match against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rib injuries are typically dependent on pain tolerance, so even if Beasley misses this week, he should return fairly quickly.

Nov 4th · 12:58 AM
Dawson Knox, Cole Beasley Absent Wednesday

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox (hand) and wide receiver Cole Beasley (ribs) both missed practice on Wednesday. Knox is improving after having surgery on his hand, but he's not ready to return to practice and is unlikely to play in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tommy Sweeney has seen more playing time in Knox's absence, but he's more of a blocking tight end and isn't all that attractive as a TE2 in fantasy. If Knox was dropped by his previous owner, pick him up immediately, as he was in the midst of a breakout season before his broken hand. Beasley caught 10 of 13 targets for 110 yards in Week 8 in the win over the Miami Dolphins and could go off again against the lowly Jaguars this Sunday if he's able to play, but he'll need to return to practice later this week for fantasy managers to feel comfortable using him.

Oct 31st · 11:16 PM
Cole Beasley Heavily Involved In Week 8

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has been an inconsistent fantasy option through the first eight weeks of the season. Although, the absence of Dawson Knox (hand) should lead to more chances for the veteran wideout. In Week 8, Beasley hauled in 10 of his 13 targets for 110 yards in the win over the Miami Dolphins. Beasley has seen 22 targets over the last two games and he should remain busy until Knox returns. Fantasy managers should consider Beasley a high-end WR3 in PPR formats against the Jaguars defense next week.

Oct 28th · 07:00 PM
Cole Beasley - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has seen an inconsistent target share through the first six games of the season. To be fair, the Bills have Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders, and Dawson Knox (hand) on the roster as well. However, the loss of Knox could mean that Beasley gets more targets going forward. Fantasy managers were given a solid performance by Beasley before the Week 7 bye week. Now, Beasley gets an excellent matchup against the Miami Dolphins secondary this week. Fantasy managers in PPR formats might want to run the risk and start Beasley at the flex this week.

Oct 19th · 04:33 AM
Cole Beasley Finally Rebounds

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley had posted back-to-back duds coming into the Week 6 matchup with the Tennessee Titans. Fantasy managers wouldn't be blamed for putting Beasley on their bench after his recent performances. However, he gave his trusting managers a solid performance on Monday. He hauled in seven of his nine targets for 88 yards and one touchdown in the loss. Sadly for Beasley, he'll need to battle Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sandersand Dawson Knox for targets. It's tough for all of them to have solid performances every week. Luckily, the Bills have an easy schedule out of their bye in Week 7, so hopefully Beasley can remain a flex option in most formats.

Oct 15th · 03:27 PM
Cole Beasley - Week 6 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has been a frustrating fantasy option through the first five games of the season. He saw double digit targets in two of the first three games of the season. Since then, Beasley has four total targets and is a risky fantasy option. He'll get a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans secondary in Week 6. Although, his fantasy value is unpredictable right now. Beasley is a shaky flex option for this one and should be avoided if possible.

Are NFL Trade Rumor Covered in the Player News?
Yes! As you can see from this Julio Jones write up from his player page, we updated his news section as soon as the news broke.
“The Atlanta Falcons are not expected to trade quarterback Matt Ryan this offseason, according to sources. “The Falcons have not had any trade conversations about Ryan or their star wide receiver Julio Jones. And every expectation is both players are going to be on the roster in 2021,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. New head coach Arthur Smith plans to run a similar offense to the one Kyle Shanahan used when Ryan won MVP in 2016. Atlanta would be on the hook for more than $44 million in dead money in 2021 if they traded Ryan before June 1. Atlanta may decide to take Ryan’s heir-apparent at No. 4 overall in the draft, but the 35-year-old signal-caller is expected to stay put for at least another season. Ryan and Jones got it going to end the regular season and could be in line for bounce-back campaigns under Smith in 2021. Consider Ryan a midrange QB1 heading into next season.”
