Gabriel Davis Totals 47 Yards In Week 12

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has been a tough player to predict on an given week. On Thursday, Davis hauled in two of his three targets for 47 yards in the win over the New Orleans Saints. Including this Week 12 performance, Davis has seen three or more targets in four of his last five games. Sadly, the Bills have plenty of options on offense, so Davis isn't normally frequently targeted. There isn't much upside for him right now and he'll be a tough player to trust against the New England Patriots in Week 13.

Gabriel Davis - Week 12 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has made some big plays for this offense, but is usually a forgotten man. There is a good chance that he is quiet again versus the New Orleans Saints in Week 12. A defense that has been top 15 in terms of pass defense this season. Davis has made a few splash plays, but isn't someone who can be counted on every week. Right now, the Bills are healthy, so Davis isn't likely to be heavily involved. He'll be a desperation deep league option at best, but should be avoided in almost all formats for this contest.

Gabriel Davis Quiet In Week 11 Loss

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis had an epic 105-yard performance last week. Sadly, he wasn't able to replicate the effort against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. The young wideout hauled in two of his four targets for 27 yards in the loss. To be fair, none of the Bills wideouts had much success in terms of receptions or yardage in this game. It was a rough day for the Bills offense as a whole. That being said, Davis isn't normally much of a factor when things are going well. At best, Davis will be a WR5 for the Week 12 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Nov 15th · 03:22 AM
Gabriel Davis Surpasses 100 Yards In Win

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis came into Week 10 with only 10 receptions on the season. He has been buried on the depth chart and a forgotten option most weeks. However, he was able to make an impact against the New York Jets on Sunday. He hauled in all three of his targets for 105 yards in the win. Despite this solid performance fantasy managers shouldn't expect this to happen on a weekly basis. Davis is normally an afterthought, but sometimes has these outburst games. Fantasy managers can continue ignoring him and treat as a WR5 against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11.

Nov 5th · 03:43 PM
Gabriel Davis - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis could see a higher usage against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9. The Bills could possibly be without wideout Cole Beasley (ribs) who sat out of Thursday's practice. His absence would likely mean Davis is more involved in the offense. Last week, Davis hauled in four of his five targets for 29 yards and one touchdown in the win. The Jaguars rank last in DOVA so far in 2021, which is great news for all the receivers in Buffalo. Davis is worth monitoring as a flex option in deep leagues for this Week 9 matchup, assuming Beasley is out.

Gabriel Davis Snags TD In Victory

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has been quiet since the season opener, but he made an impact on Sunday. The second-year wideout hauled in four of his five targets for 29 yards and one touchdown in the Week 8 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Before this game, Davis had seen five targets over the last four contests. The loss of tight end Dawson Knox (hand) has opened up more chances for Davis in the receiving game. Regardless, it's going to be tough to trust Davis in fantasy formats going forward on a weekly basis. Fantasy managers should wait to see if he can continue this success before bothering to use a roster spot on Davis.

Sep 23rd · 01:40 AM
Gabriel Davis Limited On Wednesday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) was limited in his team's Wednesday practice session. Davis played through the same ailment in Week 2, although he only played on 32% of the snaps and was not targeted. The limited session puts Davis on track to suit up for his team's Week 3 matchup against the Washington Football Team, although fantasy gamers may want to leave him on the bench until he shows that he's healthy. Davis got off to a decent start this season, catching two of five targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.

Sep 19th · 04:27 PM
Gabriel Davis Active For Week 2

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) will play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Davis hurt his ankle in Week 1 against the Steelers in a game where he had two catches for 40 yards and a touchdown while playing 51 percent of the team's snaps. A banged-up Davis likely won't see a huge uptick in work this week, with the Bills relying on Emmanuel Sanders to continue filling that No. 3 receiver role. Because of that, Davis is best left on fantasy benches.

Sep 19th · 01:25 PM
Gabriel Davis Expected To Suit Up Against Miami

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) is forecasted to be active for Sunday's divisional matchup against Miami. The 22-year-old had a strong showing despite his team falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1, finishing with two catches (five targets) for 40 yards and a touchdown. Still, while it's apparent he has upside, he remains firmly planted behind Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, and Emmanuel Sanders on the depth chart, so his fantasy outlook remains cloudy at best heading into Week 2.

Sep 18th · 12:01 AM
Gabriel Davis Draws A Questionable Tag

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) was limited in practice the last two days and is questionable for the Week 2 clash with the Miami Dolphins. Beasley is fourth on Buffalo's receiver depth chart, behind Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley. All three of the wideouts ahead of him played over 90 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, while Davis' snap percentage came in at 50.6. Despite that, Davis scored the group's only touchdown on two receptions and 40 yards receiving. The 22-year-old has a nose for the end zone -- he scored seven times in 2020 as a rookie -- but he'll continue to be a shaky flex play in much deeper leagues unless there's an injury ahead of him. Isaiah McKenzie or Jake Kumerow could have a bigger role if Davis doesn't play.

Sep 16th · 07:27 PM
Gabriel Davis Back At Practice Thursday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Barring a setback on Friday, Davis should be good to go to play in the Week 2 meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Although Davis was the only Bills receiver to find the end zone in the Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was fourth in snap percentage (50.6), behind Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders and Cole Beasley. Davis was also fifth among Buffalo wideouts with his five targets. The 22-year-old found the end zone seven times in his rookie season in 2020, but he'll be inconsistent for fantasy managers as long as he remains fourth on the totem pole. Davis is currently rostered in only seven percent of Yahoo leagues.

Sep 15th · 04:29 PM
Gabriel Davis Will Not Practice Wednesday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis will not practice on Wednesday due to a "lower body injury," according to head coach Sean McDermott. Davis had a big day in the Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching two of five targets for 40 yards and a touchdown on 43 offensive snaps. It's unclear if his injury is serious enough to keep him out in a Week 2 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, but his practice status is worth watching the rest of the week. The 22-year-old is merely a watch-list candidate in 12-team fantasy leagues for now, as Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders are all ahead of him on the depth chart. In his rookie year in 2020, Davis had 35 receptions on 62 targets for 599 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 starts.

Sep 12th · 09:19 PM
Gabriel Davis Catches TD In Loss To Steelers

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis was able to get involved during Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Right now, Davis is the No. 4 option at wideout, but that doesn't mean he won't get targets. On Sunday, Davis hauled in two of his five targets for 40 yards and one touchdown. Honestly, the touchdown was the only thing that salvaged his fantasy day. The Steelers are a tough defense, so Davis should have more value next week against the Miami Dolphins. However, Davis should be viewed as a deep league or dynasty stash right now. There probably won't be enough weekly targets to make him an option in 12-team leagues at the moment.

Sep 10th · 07:15 PM
Gabriel Davis Could See Increased Action

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis is currently projected to be the No. 4 option at wideout. That being said, there isn't a ton of appeal for Davis in most 12-team standard leagues. However, he could quickly become someone worth stashing. Veteran wideout Emmanuel Sanders (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That means, Davis could slide into a starting spot for this contest. The Steelers are going to do everything in their power to slow down Stefon Diggs. That means, Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis could have sneaky value, assuming Sanders sits. The Steelers are going to put all their impact players on Diggs, which leaves Beasley and Davis with easier matchups. Davis might be worth streaming in deeper formats, but that's if Sanders is out.

Gabriel Davis Increases His Stock Versus Packers

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has been a tricky player to place on draft boards heading into the season. He put together a handful of solid performances last season, but is probably the No. 4 wideout right now in Buffalo. On Saturday, he hauled in all five of his targets for 75 yards and one touchdown in the preseason victory over the Green Bay Packers. It's worth noting that Stefon Diggs was inactive, so Davis was a three-down player. However, he'll likely shift into the No. 4 spot on the roster once the regular season begins. Clearly, Davis can make plays when called upon, but that doesn't guarantee him weekly value. He is worth stashing in dynasty leagues, while he should be added in most deep formats. Davis is likely going to open the season in WR5 territory, but that could change.

Aug 27th · 07:02 PM
Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis Removed From COVID-19 List

The Buffalo Bills activated wide receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis and defensive tackles Vernon Butler and Star Lotulelei from the COVID-19 list on Friday. Beasley and Davis missed a few days of practice this week, and it remains to be seen if either player will suit up in the final preseason game this Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, but both wideouts should be good to go for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 32-year-old Beasley had 82 catches on 107 targets for 9.0 yards per target as the Bills primary slot man last year. He's a steady pass-catcher and professional route-runner and should once again be an effective chain-mover as a trusted target of quarterback Josh Allen. Beasley is a decent depth receiver in PPR leagues, but he's more of a real-life asset than a fantasy one. Davis will be a deep threat in Buffalo's offense as the No. 4 pass-catcher.

Aug 24th · 03:18 PM
Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis In COVID-19 Protocols

Buffalo Bills wide receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis have landed in the league's COVID-19 protocols after being a close contact of a trainer that tested positive for the virus. Both Beasley and Gabriel Davis were sent home on Monday and tested negative, but they must remain away from the team for five days before they can return to the practice field. Neither player will be able to play in the team's final preseason game this Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, although Beasley probably wouldn't have played anyway. Beasley, 32, is just 5-foot-8 and 174 pounds and isn't very sexy in terms of fantasy, but he's a reliable chain-mover and is a trusted target for quarterback Josh Allen, which means something. He's more of a real-life asset, but Beasley can be passable as a bye-week fill-in and as receiver depth as a WR4/5 in full PPR leagues.

Aug 22nd · 03:13 AM
Gabriel Davis Finishes With Three Catches

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis made his presence known during Saturday's game against the Chicago Bears. He currently holds the No. 4 spot in the receiver group, but does have plenty of capable competition. On Saturday, Davis finished with three receptions for 29 yards in the 41-15 win over the Chicago Bears. It wasn't the best game of his career, but showed he can be reliable when called upon. He'll likely remain the No. 4 option to begin the season. He'll be someone worth snagging as a late round flier in most formats.

Jan 23rd · 05:02 PM
Gabriel Davis Too Risky To Trust

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's playoff matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was able to get in some limited work late this week, but it sounds like the team is still unsure if he'll suit up. His absence could mean more targets for Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley (knee), and possibly Isaiah McKenzie gets more involved. DFS players might want to stay away from Davis even if he does suit up for this game. It doesn't sound like he'll be 100 percent healthy, so it's unlikely he puts up productive numbers.

Jan 22nd · 09:20 PM
Gabriel Davis Questionable For AFC Championship

Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) and defensive tackle Vernon Butler (quadriceps) are both questionable for the AFC Championship against the Chiefs on Sunday. Both players missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before getting in a limited session on Friday, so they'll have a chance to be active this weekend. If healthy, the rookie wideout will serve in four-receiver sets alongside Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and John Brown. The 21-year-old fourth-round pick has been serviceable for the Bills this year with 35 receptions (62 targets) for 599 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season, but he whiffed on four targets last week and has just four catches for 85 yards in the two postseason games. As the fourth wideout in a stacked Bills offense, it's hard to expect Davis to produce much if he plays. Isaiah McKenzie would see an expanded role if Davis is inactive.

Jan 20th · 09:24 PM
Gabriel Davis Misses Practice On Wednesday

Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Gabriel Davis (ankle) and defensive tackle Vernon Butler (quadriceps) both missed practice on Wednesday. Davis injured his ankle in the Divisional Round win over the Ravens last Saturday night. As of right now, the impressive 21-year-old should be considered questionable to play against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship on Sunday, but keep an eye on his practice status through the rest of the week. He was unable to haul in any of his four targets against Baltimore's defense last week after going for four catches and 85 yards in the wild-card win over Indianapolis the week prior. He's hard to trust for consistent production behind Stefon Diggs, John Brown and Cole Beasley. If Davis can't play this weekend, Isaiah McKenzie could see an expanded role.

Jan 17th · 06:47 PM
Gabriel Davis Quiet Versus Ravens

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis (leg) didn't make much of an impact during Saturday's win over the Baltimore Ravens. He failed to haul in any of his four targets during this contest. To be fair, Davis landed awkwardly on his leg and it seemed to bother him the rest of the game. It's worth keeping an eye on his status going forward. However, he should bounce back next week, assuming he's healthy.

Jan 15th · 05:44 PM
Gabriel Davis Has Sneaky Value

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has surprisingly pushed his way into a significant role in this offense. Davis didn't make much of an impact during the first half of the season, but has been a solid contributor since then. He hauled in four receptions for 85 yards in the playoff victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Obviously, Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley are ahead of him on the depth chart. However, the Bills continue to find ways to get Davis involved. He could make for a low-cost DFS option against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.

Jan 9th · 10:50 PM
Gabriel Davis Notches Four Receptions Versus Colts

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis was expected to have a big part in the offense with Cole Beasley (knee) questionable heading into this game. However, Beasley did end up suiting up for Saturday's playoff matchup versus the Indianapolis Colts. Despite that, Davis played fairly well considering he was the third passing option. He hauled in all four of his targets for 85 yards in the victory. Davis will remain a key part to the Bills offense as they head deeper into the playoffs.

Jan 8th · 05:14 PM
Gabriel Davis An Intriguing Option For Saturday

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis finished off the 2020 regular season with a bang. He hauled in two of his five targets for a career-high 107 yards and one touchdown in the win over the Miami Dolphins. It has been a fairly successful season for Davis despite being buried on the depth chart at times. He could get increased looks against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend. Cole Beasley (knee) is in danger of sitting out, which could likely mean more targets for Davis. He could have sneaky low-cost streaming appeal, assuming Beasley misses this contest.

Are NFL Trade Rumor Covered in the Player News?
Yes! As you can see from this Julio Jones write up from his player page, we updated his news section as soon as the news broke.
“The Atlanta Falcons are not expected to trade quarterback Matt Ryan this offseason, according to sources. “The Falcons have not had any trade conversations about Ryan or their star wide receiver Julio Jones. And every expectation is both players are going to be on the roster in 2021,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. New head coach Arthur Smith plans to run a similar offense to the one Kyle Shanahan used when Ryan won MVP in 2016. Atlanta would be on the hook for more than $44 million in dead money in 2021 if they traded Ryan before June 1. Atlanta may decide to take Ryan’s heir-apparent at No. 4 overall in the draft, but the 35-year-old signal-caller is expected to stay put for at least another season. Ryan and Jones got it going to end the regular season and could be in line for bounce-back campaigns under Smith in 2021. Consider Ryan a midrange QB1 heading into next season.”
