Jakobi Meyers Not Involved In Week 13

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was not involved in the passing game at all during the Week 13 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. It was a blizzard game where the Patriots ran the ball almost exclusively. Meyers was not targeted at all and the Patriots only threw the ball three times all night in the win. Fantasy managers shouldn't blame Meyers and consider this a fluke. He should remain on the WR4 radar for Week 15 after the Patriots comes off their bye.

Jakobi Meyers - Week 13 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has seen four or more targets in every game this season. However, he has only surpassed 50 receiving yards in one of his last seven games. That being said, Meyers could struggle during the Week 13 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. A defense that currently ranks first in pass DVOA this season. The targets are normally there for Meyers, but he has struggled to do anything with him. That being said, Meyers falls into low-end WR3 territory in PPR formats for this matchup.

Jakobi Meyers Nearly Tops 100 Yards

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was able to make some noise during the Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. He hauled in five of his eight targets for 98 yards in the win. This 98-yard performance marked a season-high for Meyers who normally struggles to get over 50 yards. This was a nice outing for Meyers, but it's tough to tell if he'll have the same results next week. He'll get a matchup against the tough Buffalo Bills secondary. Meyers appears to be a better PPR option while being a WR4 in other formats.

Jakobi Meyers - Week 12 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has failed to surpass 50 receiving yards in each of his last six games. Although, it's worth noting that Meyers has seen four or more targets in every game this season. His production has been inconsistent, which makes him a difficult fantasy option on a weekly basis. Fantasy managers should consider Meyers a low-end flex option in PPR formats for Week 12. He'll face off against a Tennessee Titans defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to wideouts this season. The Patriots aren't exactly a pass-heavy team, but this is a favorable matchup for Meyers. The targets should be there, which makes him a solid candidate for PPR formats in Week 12.

Nov 19th · 05:34 AM
Jakobi Meyers Falls Under 40 Yards In Week 11

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was riding high coming into the Week 11 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. He hauled in his first career touchdown a week prior, but wasn't able to do much in Week 11. Meyers caught four of his six targets for 39 yards in the win. Fantasy managers outside of PPR formats have certainly been disappointed with Meyers lately. The targets have been there, but Meyers doesn't seem to normally rack up much yardage. It could be more of the same against the Tennessee Titans next week. Fantasy managers should consider Meyers on the WR4 radar for that one.

Nov 18th · 03:04 PM
Jakobi Meyers - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers finally caught his first career touchdown last week. He came into that contest with 1,522 career receiving yards without a touchdown, which was the NFL record. In that game, Meyers hauled in all four of his targets for 49 yards and one score. Now, he'll get a plus matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. A defense that ranks 28th in pass DVOA this season. Meyers has seen four targets or more in every game this season. Fantasy managers should consider him a possible WR3 for Thursday's favorable matchup.

Nov 15th · 04:07 AM
Jakobi Meyers Finally Scores A Touchdown

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers finally scored a touchdown for the first time in his career. Meyers had 1,522 career receiving yards without a touchdown. That was the longest span of yardage without a score across all positions in the history of the NFL. Finally, Meyers was able to score during the Week 10 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. He hauled in all four of his targets for 49 yards and a touchdown from backup quarterback Brian Hoyer in the win. Fantasy managers should expect Meyers to continue succeeding against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11. He should be on the radar as a WR3 for that matchup.

Nov 13th · 04:16 PM
Jakobi Meyers - Week 10 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is coming off his worst game of the season. Last week, Meyers finished with one reception on four targets for eight yards in the win. All of these stats were the lowest for Meyers on the year. However, he has a great chance to rebound against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. A defense that ranks 19th in pass DVOA this season. Fantasy managers should be able to count on Meyers as a low-end WR3 for this matchup.

Nov 8th · 02:15 AM
Jakobi Meyers Posts Dud Against Panthers

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers posted his worst performance of the season against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9. He hauled in one of his four targets for eight yards in the win on Sunday. To be fair, it was a game where quarterback Mac Jones completed a total of 12 passes on the day. Meyers has been fairly reliable throughout the season and should rebound. He'll get a decent matchup against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. Meyers should be a low-end WR3 for this bounce back chance next week.

Nov 6th · 01:30 AM
Jakobi Meyers - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has not scored a touchdown through the first eight games of the season. Despite that, Meyers has remained a fairly reliable PPR option in fantasy formats. He has seen 68 targets and remains heavily involved in the passing attack. That should remain the case against the Carolina Panthers in Week 9. Although, Carolina has done a solid job of defending the pass this season. Regardless, Meyers should be able to find success and be a possible low-end WR3 in PPR formats for this week.

Nov 1st · 02:55 AM
Jakobi Meyers Posts Another Sluggish Game

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers appeared to be the most reliable receiver for this offense, but has been quiet over the last few games. In Week 8, Meyers hauled in four of nine targets for 37 yards in the win over the Los Angeles Chargers. To be fair, it wasn't a very successful day for any of the Pats receivers. Those 37 yards are the lowest for Meyers through the first eight weeks of the season. Despite that, fantasy managers should be able to continue trusting him next week. Meyers should bounce back and be a low-end WR3 in PPR formats against the Carolina Panthers.

Oct 28th · 08:11 PM
Jakobi Meyers - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has been heavily involved in the passing attack throughout the first seven games of the season. In fact, Meyers has been targeted nearly 60 times, but his value has been limited due to the fact he cannot seem to score a touchdown. There is still plenty of upside with Meyers and he should be rostered in most fantasy formats. He'll get a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8. This could be a run-heavy game for the Pats, which puts Meyers on the WR4 radar for this game.

Oct 25th · 04:54 PM
Jakobi Meyers Targeted Seven Times In Week 7

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has been heavily involved in the passing attack through the first six games of the season. In Week 7, Meyers hauled in five of his seven targets for 44 yards in the win over the New York Jets. Meyers continues to be a focal point of the Pats passing game. He has seen five or more targets in every game this season. That shouldn't change against the Los Angeles Chargers next week. Meyers should be considered a WR4 for that matchup.

Oct 22nd · 04:45 PM
Jakobi Meyers - Week 7 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has seen 52 targets over the first six games of the season. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones appears to have found a favorite target in Meyers. Thus far, Meyers has hauled in at least four receptions in every game this season. He'll head into a plus matchup against the New York Jets defense in Week 7. A defense that ranks 23rd in pass DVOA so far in 2021. The targets should be there, so Meyers should be a high-end WR3 for this game.

Oct 18th · 01:36 AM
Jakobi Meyers Snags Five Receptions In Loss

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers continued his scoreless streak during the Week 6 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Despite not finding the end zone, Meyers has been the most reliable option in this offense. He hauled in five of his six targets for 44 yards in the overtime loss. Meyers has seen five targets or more in every game this season. He seems to always be involved and that should remain the case against the New York Jets in Week 7. Fantasy managers should consider Meyers a fine WR3 in PPR formats.

Oct 16th · 02:36 PM
Jakobi Meyers - Week 6 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has not scored a touchdown this season, which continues to hinder his value. Despite that, he has been able to hold his own because he appears to be rookie Mac Jones favorite target. Meyers has seen double digit targets twice in five games this season. He might see another with Damien Harris (ribs) questionable for the Week 6 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The Patriots will likely go pass-heavy, assuming Harris is sidelined. That means, Meyers should be a fine WR3 for this game against a surprisingly decent Cowboys defense.

Oct 11th · 12:53 AM
Jakobi Meyers Hauls In Four Receptions

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has been the most reliable option in this offensive unit this season. In Week 5, Meyers hauled in four of his five targets for 56 yards in the win over the Houston Texans. He remains the Patriots most-targeted wideout and that should stay that way going forward. Meyers has not found the end zone this season, but that hasn't hurt his value in PPR formats. He should remain in the WR3 conversation in PPR leagues against the Dallas Cowboys next week.

Oct 10th · 02:46 AM
Jakobi Meyers - Week 5 Outlook for Fantasy Football

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has seen double digit targets during each of his last two games. Meyers appears to be the centerpiece of this offense and that's unlikely to change. He'll get a Houston Texans defense in Week 5 that has struggled to contain the passing game. The Patriots have aired it out over the last two games and that shouldn't change here. Meyers is a fine WR3 for this matchup.

Oct 4th · 04:04 AM
Jakobi Meyers Sees Double-Digit Targets In Loss

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has been the most reliable offensive weapon for this team through the first month of the season. In Week 4, Meyers hauled in eight of his 12 targets for 70 yards in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This was a strong outing for Meyers who led the team in both receptions and receiving yards. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones appears to have found a favorite target in Meyers. He should be in the WR3 mix in PPR formats for their matchup against the Houston Texans next week.

Oct 2nd · 08:23 PM
Jakobi Meyers In WR3 Mix For Week 4

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has been surprisingly reliable in PPR formats through the first three games of the season. His success should continue against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. A defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to wideouts this season. Meyers is coming off a 14-target game and should see a similar volume again. Rookie quarterback Mac Jones enjoys throwing his way and should often in Week 4. Fantasy managers should consider Meyers a fine WR3 for this matchup.

Sep 27th · 02:47 AM
Jakobi Meyers Goes Off Against Saints

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had no issues versus the New Orleans Saints defense in Week 3. He ended up seeing a season-high in both targets and receptions during Sunday's loss. Meyers hauled in nine of 14 targets for 94 yards and was held without a score. Fantasy managers in PPR formats will certainly take this outing even if Meyers was held out of the end zone for the third straight game. Right now, Meyers appears to be the only reliable weekly option for this offense. Fantasy managers should consider Meyers a WR3 for Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Sep 24th · 04:26 PM
Jakobi Meyers A Borderline WR3 Versus Saints

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers appears to be one of rookie quarterback Mac Jones' favorite targets. Last week, Meyers was tied with running backJames White for the team lead in targets with six. It's assumed that the Patriots will continue throwing his way against a tough running defense in the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. The frustrating part is that Meyers has yet to surpass the 45-yard mark in either game to open the year. He'll remain a low-end WR3 in PPR formats for Week 3.

Sep 19th · 09:00 PM
Jakobi Meyers Remains Involved Versus Jets

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers saw nearly 10 targets during the season opener. His workload diminished a bit in Week 2, but Meyers remained involved in the offensive attack. He hauled in four of his six targets for 38 yards in the win over the New York Jets. The Patriots didn't need to produce much offense with the Jets continuing to give up the ball. This game was over pretty quick, which meant less aggressive play for the Patriots offense. Despite that, it seems like Meyers is going to see plenty of targets on a weekly basis. He should be a high-end WR4 in PPR formats for their next matchup versus the New Orleans Saints.

Sep 17th · 02:58 PM
Jakobi Meyers An Interesting PPR Option For Week 2

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers was unsurprisingly busy during the season opener versus the Miami Dolphins. He saw nine targets and hauled in six of them for 44 yards in the loss. Clearly, rookie quarterback Mac Jones has found a safety net in the passing game with Meyers. None of those receptions were "big plays", but fantasy managers can't be upset with his performance versus a tough defense. Meyers will get a much easier matchup against the New York Jets in Week 2. A defense that gave up the ninth-most passing yards last season. Fantasy managers in PPR formats should feel comfortable with Meyers as a WR3 this week.

Sep 13th · 02:42 AM
Jakobi Meyers Targeted Nine Times In Loss

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers looked solid during the season opener against the Miami Dolphins. Meyers hauled in six of his nine targets for 44 yards in the loss. He led the Pats in both receptions and targets, so clearly New England wanted to make sure Meyers was getting involved. Meyers made the most of his chances and should be on the WR4 radar for Week 2 against the New York Jets. Fantasy managers in PPR formats might want to consider using Meyers as a flex option in this favorable matchup.

Are NFL Trade Rumor Covered in the Player News?
Yes! As you can see from this Julio Jones write up from his player page, we updated his news section as soon as the news broke.
“The Atlanta Falcons are not expected to trade quarterback Matt Ryan this offseason, according to sources. “The Falcons have not had any trade conversations about Ryan or their star wide receiver Julio Jones. And every expectation is both players are going to be on the roster in 2021,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. New head coach Arthur Smith plans to run a similar offense to the one Kyle Shanahan used when Ryan won MVP in 2016. Atlanta would be on the hook for more than $44 million in dead money in 2021 if they traded Ryan before June 1. Atlanta may decide to take Ryan’s heir-apparent at No. 4 overall in the draft, but the 35-year-old signal-caller is expected to stay put for at least another season. Ryan and Jones got it going to end the regular season and could be in line for bounce-back campaigns under Smith in 2021. Consider Ryan a midrange QB1 heading into next season.”
