Jarvis Landry Sits Out Wednesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. Landry has been managing a knee issue for the most of the year, so it shouldn't be a huge surprise that he's not practicing to begin the week, even coming off a Week 13 bye. He had his best game of the season in Week 12, catching six of 10 targets for a season-high 111 yards against the Baltimore Ravens. Landry and the Browns will get the Ravens again this Sunday. The 29-year-old isn't guaranteed to have another big game, and he has yet to even score a touchdown this year. But he'll have WR3/flex appeal in PPR leagues because he's quarterback Baker Mayfield's top receiving target.

Jarvis Landry Sets Season-High In Yardage In Loss

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry turned in a big game in a 16-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12. Landry caught six of 10 targets for 111 yards to lead Cleveland in all receiving categories. He also lost a fumble attempting a pass on a direct snap trick play during the first half. Week 12 marked the first time since Week 11 of the 2020 season where Landry topped 100 receiving yards. A low-upside WR3 in fantasy, Landry will now enjoy a bye in Week 13 before he gets to take on these same Ravens in Week 14.

Jarvis Landry - Week 12 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) got in a limited practice session on Friday and will head into his team's Week 12 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens without an injury designation. Landry has been playing through a knee injury for much of the season, which has limited his mobility on the field. The Ravens represent a neutral matchup for Landry as they are allowing the 14th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers in 2021. Landry and the Cleveland passing game has been struggling over the past few contests, which makes the veteran wideout a risky option in fantasy in Week 12. Treat him as a low-end WR3 this weekend.

Jarvis Landry Good To Go In Week 12

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) was limited in practice the last two days and has no injury designation heading into Sunday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12. The Ravens have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to receivers in the last three weeks and have given up the second-most passing yards per game in 2021. However, quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder, foot, groin) is extremely banged up and the Browns will likely continue to rely heavily on their ground game as long as the game script remains positive. Landry has yet to score this season and has just 11 catches for 63 yards on 18 targets in the last three games. He has become a low-upside WR4/flex in PPR leagues.

Jarvis Landry Upgraded To Limited On Thursday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) logged a limited practice session on Thursday. He was a DNP on Wednesday. Now the No. 1 wideout in Cleveland's offense, Landry could be in line for a solid day against a Ravens secondary that is susceptible to giving up big plays. He had a big game last week, completing four passes for 26 yards while also adding a rushing touchdown.

Nov 25th · 12:14 AM
Jarvis Landry Not Seen Wednesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) missed another Wednesday practice with his knee injury. Landry aggravated his knee in the Week 11 win over the Detroit Lions, but he is expected to play through it and be available on Sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens. But with the 28-year-old likely playing at less than 100% with a beat up quarterback in a run-first offense, fantasy managers should be even less confident about Landry as a WR4/flex in PPR leagues, even against a Ravens secondary that has given up a ton of points and yards to receivers this year. In his last three games, Landry only has 11 catches on 18 targets for 63 scoreless yards. He has still yet to find the end zone in 2021.

Nov 22nd · 05:49 PM
Jarvis Landry To Play Through His Knee Issue

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) will be able to continue playing through his left knee injury. Landry sprained his MCL and missed some time as a result, and the same knee was giving him problems in the Week 11 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The 28-year-old caught half of his eight targets for only 26 yards against Detroit, the second straight week he's had exactly four receptions for 26 receiving yards. Landry's eight targets were nice to see in Cleveland's low-volume passing offense, but he continues to do very little with his catches (9.1 yards per reception) and is playing at less than 100% with his quarterback also extremely beat up. Landry still hasn't found the end zone this year and is becoming an unreliable WR4/flex in PPR leagues. If it wasn't for his 16-yard touchdown run against the Lions, he would've had another underwhelming stat line for fantasy managers.

Nov 22nd · 05:08 PM
Jarvis Landry Dealing With More Knee Problems

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) was in and out of the Week 11 win over the Detroit Lions in the second half with a knee injury. Landry missed four games earlier this year with a knee injury and has been fighting through the pain since he returned in Week 7. "I think it is probably the same one, but I do not know how [significant]," head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "We will find out tomorrow what that means." The 28-year-old sprained his MCL earlier in 2021, so this is something definitely worth watching heading into next Sunday night's game against the Baltimore Ravens. In this low-volume passing offense, Landry has been hard to trust as a WR4/flex in PPR leagues, but he did salvage his day against Detroit with a nifty touchdown run.

Jarvis Landry Scores Rushing TD In Week 11

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry caught four of eight targets for 26 yards and added a 16-yard rushing touchdown in a 13-10 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 11. In the first quarter, Landry caught the Lions off guard with a direct snap where it initially looked like he would be passing before he kept the ball and ran it in for a 16-yard rushing score. Landry did get banged up in the game as he came up limping during the third quarter and spent some time in the blue medical tent, but he was eventually able to return to the contest in the fourth quarter. Now settled in as a low-end flex option in PPR leagues, expect a slate of limited practices for Landry this upcoming week as the Browns get ready for an important road matchup against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12.

Nov 19th · 10:08 PM
Jarvis Landry - Week 11 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) got in two limited practices after a DNP on Wednesday this week as he gears up for a Week 11 showdown against the Detroit Lions. Landry has been dealing with a knee injury for much of the year but he was removed from the team's final injury report on Friday and will be out there when the Browns take on the Lions on Sunday. That being said, Landry and the passing game might not be very busy with the run-first Browns installed as 11.5-point home favorites. Landry hasn't done much in the stat column this season and the projected game script does not favor a slot receiver dependent on high volume such as himself this weekend. Treat him as a low-end flex option in Week 11.

Nov 18th · 08:52 PM
Jarvis Landry Back On The Practice Field

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) returned to the practice field on Thursday after not participating in Wednesday's session. Landry continues to rest a knee injury early in the week that sidelined him earlier in the season, but he should be fine for this weekend's game against the Detroit Lions, barring some sort of setback. Fantasy managers may have expected Landry's fantasy value to rise when they cut Odell Beckham Jr., but that really hasn't been the case in this low-volume passing attack with quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder, knee, foot) extremely banged up. Landry has only 10 targets in the last two games combined and has totaled 37 receiving yards. The once-useful PPR maven is now a low-upside WR4/flex that is still searching for his first touchdown of 2021.

Nov 17th · 11:37 PM
Jarvis Landry, Anthony Schwartz Miss Practice

Cleveland Browns wide receivers Jarvis Landry (knee) and Anthony Schwartz (concussion) did not take part in practice on Wednesday. Landry continues to be rested early in the week, but as long as he returns to practice on Thursday or Friday, he should be fine to play on Sunday against the winless Detroit Lions. The 28-year-old has exactly five targets in each of the last two games and he's turned that into only seven receptions for 37 yards. Quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee, foot, shoulder) is extremely beat up in an offense that likes to run the ball as much as they can. Consider Landry a low-upside, low-volume WR3/flex, even in a pristine matchup against Detroit. Schwartz is buried on the depth chart in a low-volume passing attack, so he's only worth stashing in deep dynasty setups.

Nov 14th · 09:37 PM
Jarvis Landry Catches Four Balls In Week 10

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry caught four of five passes for 26 yards in a 45-7 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 10. Landry finished second on the team in receiving on an afternoon where the Cleveland offense struggled to move the ball against the New England defense. The veteran receiver has been quiet for much of the season as he has only gone over 37 receiving yards twice in six games. He will look to bounce back at home against the Detroit Lions in Week 11.

Nov 12th · 09:32 PM
Jarvis Landry - Week 10 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) appears to be in line to suit up against the New England Patriots in Week 10 after getting in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. Landry will face off against a New England secondary that is allowing the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers in 2021. Landry is still not over the knee injury that forced him to miss Weeks 3-6, but he projects to lead the Browns in targets this weekend. Cleveland will be without Nick Chubb and may lean a bit more on the passing game than usual, but to play it safe fantasy owners should continue to consider Landry a low-end WR3 in PPR formats.

Nov 12th · 01:15 AM
Jarvis Landry Back On The Practice Field Thursday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) returned to a limited practice on Thursday after being a spectator at Wednesday's session. The Browns continue to take it easy on Landry as he manages a knee injury, but he should be just fine to play this weekend against the New England Patriots. The 28-year-old is the team's unquestioned No. 1 wideout with Odell Beckham Jr. now in Los Angeles with the Rams, but he's still not a terribly attractive fantasy wideout in Cleveland's low-volume passing attack. Landry did have a season-high 10 targets in Week 8, but he dropped back down to five targets in the Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, catching three of them for only 11 yards. He has yet to surpass 71 yards receiving in a single game and is still looking for his first score of the year. Landry is a low-upside, low-volume WR3/flex in PPR leagues.

Nov 10th · 05:07 PM
Jarvis Landry Won't Practice Wednesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) will not take part in practice on Wednesday. This shouldn't come as a huge surprise, as Landry continues to miss Wednesday practices before returning later in the week and playing on Sundays. Unless he has a setback, the 28-year-old should be able to play in Week 10 against the New England Patriots. Landry is Cleveland's clear No. 1 receiver now that Odell Beckham Jr. is out of the picture, but it hasn't meant much in this low-volume passing attack. He caught just three of five targets for 11 yards despite the team scoring 41 points in last week's blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The previous week, he saw a season-high 10 targets but caught just five of them for 65 yards. Landry is slightly more attractive in PPR leagues, but he has yet to score this year and remains a low-upside WR3/flex.

Nov 8th · 01:00 AM
Jarvis Landry Catches Three Balls In Week 9

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry turned in a quiet afternoon in a 41-16 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9. Landry caught three of five targets for 11 yards and added a rush for no gain. The veteran receiver's slow afternoon can be blamed on a game script that didn't require Cleveland to pass much, with Baker Mayfield only throwing 21 passes in the win. Landry should have better days in his future, especially now that he is back in the No. 1 receiver chair with Odell Beckham Jr. no longer a member of the team. Landry will take on the New England Patriots on the road in Week 10.

Nov 5th · 05:02 PM
Jarvis Landry Will Play Against Bengals

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) was removed from the team's final injury report in Week 9 and will play against the Cincinnati Bengals. It will be Landry's first game after the team officially released Odell Beckham Jr. on Friday morning. Landry should remain quarterback Baker Mayfield's top aerial target, but he'll remain in the WR3/flex mix in point-per-reception leagues in this run-first offense. Landry has seen 18 targets in the last three weeks, but it's amounted to only 102 yards and 10.2 yards per catch. The 28-year-old will be looking for his first touchdown of the season this weekend. With Beckham no longer in the picture, Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) figures to be the team's No. 2 wideout if he can return after a two-game absence.

Nov 4th · 09:16 PM
Jarvis Landry Back At Practice Thursday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) returned to the practice field on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Landry was limited in practice on Thursday, but barring any setbacks on Friday, we would expect him to suit up in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 28-year-old had already basically been the team's top target before it was announced that Odell Beckham Jr. is essentially off the team until further notice. Landry has had 18 total targets in the last two games after returning from an injury layoff with a hamstring ailment. He hasn't done much with those looks in this run-first offense, though, totaling 102 scoreless yards. Even as Cleveland's top target, Landry is really only attractive as a low-upside WR3/flex in PPR leagues.

Nov 4th · 09:59 AM
Jarvis Landry - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry will take on the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 9. Landry missed Wednesday's practice with a knee issue but all signs indicate that he will be able to suit up against the Bengals come Sunday. The Browns offense is likely to be without wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who was not permitted to practice on Wednesday and may not be with the team much longer. That leaves Landry as the clear-cut top option in the Cleveland passing attack going forward. The Bengals are allowing the 12th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season. Cincinnati also has an explosive offense that can score quickly and put the pressure on Cleveland to throw more than usual. Treat Landry as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 for Week 9.

Nov 3rd · 11:38 PM
Jarvis Landry Missing From Practice Wednesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) did not participate in practice on Wednesday. Landry continues to be bothered by a knee injury, but he played in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers and missed only six offensive snaps on his way to hauling in five of 10 targets for 65 yards in Week 8. Unless he suffers a setback later this week, we'd expect the 28-year-old to be the Browns leading receiver in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals with Odell Beckham Jr. away from the team indefinitely. In this low-volume passing attack, however, fantasy managers shouldn't have high expectations for Landry as anything more than a WR3/flex in PPR leagues.

Oct 31st · 11:57 PM
Jarvis Landry Leads Cleveland In Receiving In Week 8

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry caught five of 10 targets for 65 yards in a 15-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. While Landry led the team in receiving, it was not all positive for the veteran receiver, who lost a costly fumble during the fourth quarter and also failed to catch at least two catchable passes. Landry has been battling through a knee injury, which may have played into his poor performance on Sunday, but this struggling Cleveland passing attack really needs someone to step up moving forward. That being said, the veteran receiver remains a solid fantasy receiver in PPR leagues despite his team's recent issues. The Browns head on the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9.

Oct 29th · 02:21 AM
Jarvis Landry - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) was able to return to a limited practice on Thursday after missing on Wednesday. Despite his knee injury, Landry is already on record of saying that he will take the field when the Browns take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8. Pittsburgh represents a plus matchup for Landry as they are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this year. Despite the positive matchup, Landry has been fighting through a knee injury and has limited upside in a run-first Cleveland offense. Fantasy gamers should treat him as a flex option at best in Week 8.

Oct 28th · 04:11 PM
Jarvis Landry Says He'll Play In Week 8

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) said he will "for sure" be able to play in Week 8 against the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers after suffering a new knee injury in last Thursday's win over the Denver Broncos. The new injury stems from a sprained MCL he suffered in his left knee Sept. 19, which kept him out for four games. Landry is expected to return to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session, so barring any further setbacks, he should be able to play on Sunday. The 28-year-old was targeted a season-high eight times by backup quarterback Case Keenum last week, but he caught just five passes for 37 yards. The good news is it looks like Baker Mayfield (shoulder) will return, but Landry is more of a WR4/flex option while dealing with knee issues and with just 10.6 yards per catch in three games in 2021.

Oct 27th · 11:31 PM
Jarvis Landry Misses Practice Wednesday

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) did not practice on Wednesday because of a knee injury that he suffered late in last Thursday's win over the Denver Broncos. The good news is it's unrelated to the sprained MCL that kept Landry out for the previous four games. The Browns are hoping Landry can return to practice later in the week. Cleveland's offense is extremely banged up, with receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (shoulders) and quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) also questionable for Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Running back Kareem Hunt (calf) remains on Injured Reserve. As a true question mark for Halloween, Landry is more of a WR4/flex, and he'll have a low fantasy ceiling if backup quarterback Case Keenum is forced to make another start.

Are NFL Trade Rumor Covered in the Player News?
Yes! As you can see from this Julio Jones write up from his player page, we updated his news section as soon as the news broke.
“The Atlanta Falcons are not expected to trade quarterback Matt Ryan this offseason, according to sources. “The Falcons have not had any trade conversations about Ryan or their star wide receiver Julio Jones. And every expectation is both players are going to be on the roster in 2021,” NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said. New head coach Arthur Smith plans to run a similar offense to the one Kyle Shanahan used when Ryan won MVP in 2016. Atlanta would be on the hook for more than $44 million in dead money in 2021 if they traded Ryan before June 1. Atlanta may decide to take Ryan’s heir-apparent at No. 4 overall in the draft, but the 35-year-old signal-caller is expected to stay put for at least another season. Ryan and Jones got it going to end the regular season and could be in line for bounce-back campaigns under Smith in 2021. Consider Ryan a midrange QB1 heading into next season.”
