Police Officers Escorted A High School Football Player Off The Field After He Body Slammed A Ref

This is scary stuff. Check out this high school football player run out onto the field after being ejected from the game. Wait until the end of the video to see the player take the ref down.

This situation occurred in Texas where  the Edinburgh High Bobcats took on the PSJA High Bears.

Edinburgh’s Emmanuel Duron did something that warranted an ejection, and then came out onto the field and assaulted this poor official after the announcement. According to reports, the ref was in bad shape.

The ref had to be helped off the field on a cart.

Police officers are involved, though they have “no comment” on whether the player will be charged.

You really do see something new everyday.

High school football in Texas is just different, and maybe they take it a little too seriously down there. I know one thing, Emmanuel Duran will never live this down. He will likely always be known as the kid who let his emotions get the best of him, and attacked a referee. Just terrible stuff here. I sure hope the official is ok.
