A.J. Brown Thinks The NFL Is Out To Get Him

Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown has a conspiracy theory involving the NFL having some sort of vendetta against him. Brown tweeted Tuesday he has already been the subject of three separate drug tests administered by the league this offseason.

Brown has been one of the most explosive playmakers in football in each of the past two seasons for the Titans. The former second-round pick had 1,051 yards receiving and averaged 20.2 yards per reception in 2019 before hauling in 70 receptions for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2020.

Does the NFL have some reason to be suspicious of the Titans wide receiver? A.J. Brown sure seems to think so.

“NFL will y’all please leave me alone with these drug tests,” Brown tweeted. “3rd one this off-season. I don’t even drink protein milk. Chill on me.”
A.J. Brown is only 6-feet tall, so he lacks size for a wideout. However, his strength and speed make him a nightmare for anyone who has to match up with him. But why A.J. Brown? There is at least one other player on the Tennessee Titans who is a physical specimen that I would be concerned about testing before A.J. Brown. I am sure you all can guess who I am referring to. He goes by the name of Derrick Henry.
Being “randomly selected” for a drug test has to be annoying, especially three times in one offseason. A.J. Brown definitely has a reason to be upset about it. I don’t think Brown has given the league any reason to be concerned about him other than his outstanding play. That is something he should be rewarded for, not slammed with random drug tests.
You heard it from  A.J. Brown himself, he doesn’t even drink protein milk. Leave the man alone NFL. Especially on 4/20.
