Aaron Rodgers Would ‘Love’ To Go To The Broncos And Compete With Patrick Mahomes In His Division

Aaron Rodgers is the source of many headlines over the past week as it has been reported that he is so fed up with the Green Bay Packers organization, that he will not be returning under any circumstance.

When star players plan their next move after demanding a trade, they’ll often look for the best situation. Whether that be a good team, good city, good coaching staff/front office, or easy competition, a player normally wants everything to be perfect in a potential landing spot.

Contrary to that belief, Aaron Rodgers is reportedly not very picky about where he gets traded to. The Denver Broncos (who are said to be making a run at Rodgers) don’t have the best weapons, and play in the same division as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. While it doesn’t seem like that would be the best fit for the aging Rodgers, he’s reportedly all-in. In fact, he wants to play against Mahomes twice a year.

Here’s what NFL Network’s Rich Eisen had to say about Rodgers’ desire to go to Denver.

“They have the weapons, they’ve got the spot — he doesn’t care that it’s in Mahomes’ division. He would actually love to personally beat Mahomes. He would love to send Mahomes to the wild card every single year”

Aaron Rodgers is one confident guy, and it sounds like he just wants to get the hell out of Green Bay. He’ll go anywhere else, and still be confident in his ability to beat the best teams in the NFL. He’ll ever play Patrick Mahomes twice a year.

That should be music to any Denver Broncos fans’ ears.
