Adam Sandler Says He’s In On Happy Gilmore 2

Could a “Happy Gilmore” sequel be in the works?

Nearly two decades after the famous “Happy Gilmore” movie, Adam Sandler has shed some light on the possibility of a sequel. Sandler and Christopher McDonald (who played Shooter McGavin in the film) went on “The Dan Patrick Show” and revealed that they were both down for a “Happy Gilmore 2” movie.

I have mixed emotions about the idea of a Happy Gilmore sequel. I mean, how many times does a sequel actually live up to the hype following a classic movie? Especially when it will be over twenty years after the fact.

These guys are old now.

On the other hand, I’m not going to say that I wouldn’t watch “Happy Gilmore 2”. Adam Sandler hasn’t really done anything funny since his younger days… maybe he needs another “Happy Gilmore” to bring out what adored him to so many fans as a young comedian.

One thing is for sure, “Happy Gilmore 2” would be a massive money maker. With that being the case, I would not be surprised if Sandler and McDonald bring a sequel to the big screen sometime in the near future.
