Alex Rodriguez Shares Message To Derek Jeter Ahead Of Hall Of Fame Induction

It’s no surprise that Alex Rodriguez isn’t among the many Derek Jeter teammates in Cooperstown today to support him during the Hall of Fame induction.

They weren’t the best of friends, and some rumors even indicated that they never got along too well when A-Rod joined Jeter in the Bronx.

But with that being said, Rodriguez put his ego aside to send a message to Derek Jeter on his special day.

It seems like Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter were able to put there differences aside to reach the same goal of winning during their time with the Yankees.

And even though they might not be close friends, they probably have a mutual respect at this stage of their lives.

Right before Jeter made his induction speech, the Yankees released a chilling tribute video to “The Captain”.

How A-Rod And Derek Jeter Will Be Remembered

Alex Rodriguez probably won’t have his day in the sun in Cooperstown thanks to a couple different steroid scandals. He might also have to accept that he’ll never be anywhere near as beloved as Jeter by the Yankees faithful

But he’s watching Derek Jeter’s ceremony on Wednesday afternoon. And the interesting duo will always have their names tied together regardless of everything.

For now, Alex Rodriguez will have to be content with that.
