Ben Simmons Reportedly Ghosting Sixers While They Struggle To Find Trade Partners

After his dismal postseason, it was widely believed that point guard Ben Simmons would be traded from the Philadelphia 76ers.

But while the Sixers have reportedly been in talks with teams regarding Simmons, they haven’t liked the return offers they’ve been receiving so far.

With the 76ers not interested in anything they’re currently being offered for Ben Simmons, they’ve been trying to get in contact with their point guard.

According to reports, Simmons has not been returning any calls from the Sixers all offseason.

Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer sat down with the Liberty Ballers’ Steve Lipman and Dan Volpone on The Gastroenteritis Blues to share his take on how Simmons has handled the Sixers this offseason.

“I’m not gonna write this in the story, but I’ll tell this to you guys and you guys can do what you want with it,” he prefaced before dropping the bomb. “They haven’t been able to really even get in touch with Ben since the season ended.”

When Ben Simmons’ Sixers were initially eliminated from the playoffs, he allegedly booked it overseas with his girlfriend. And now, rumors have circulated that the disgruntled point guard is selling his home in Philadelphia.

Ever since the 76ers lost in Game 7 to a surprising Atlanta Hawks team, every single news coming from Ben Simmons and the team hints that there is very little chance that either side is interested in continuing on with him as their point guard.

The 76ers might have to come to the realization that a Ben Simmons trade is inevitable, and they’ll have to take whatever they can get from potential suitors.
