Florida Panthers head coach Joel Quenneville is now finding himself in jeopardy of losing his job after the Blackhawks released their investigation results

Earlier today, Chicago Blackhawks president of hockey ops Stan Bowman finally released a statement on the allegations of sexual assault against former video coach Brad Aldrich.

The alleged abuse occurred during the Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup Championship season in 2010. According to the lawsuit filed by an anonymous Hawks player, the teams’ front office (including Stan Bowman) were all well-aware of the allegations against Aldrich, and chose not to take the case to the police.

Shortly after Bowman spoke on the matter, new details from the lawsuit shared the disgusting details from the Brad Aldrich sexual abuse.

According to the former player (listed as John Doe in the suit), Brad Aldrich was making sexual advances when the player visited the coach’s apartment. When the player tried to leave, Aldrich took a bat and threatened the player to engage in non-consensual sex. He also threatened to ruin the players career.

The lawsuit also alleges that players on the team repeatedly mocked the players for the encounter with Brad Aldrich, calling him homophobic slurs during practice.

This story continues to go from bad to worse.

From the allegations continuing to get more disgusting, to the alleged cover up by the front office, to the fact that Brad Aldrich would go on to do similar things to other hockey players during his time with a high school and college program, this is a huge black eye for the entire Blackhawks organization.

Hopefully Brad Aldrich is held accountable, along with anyone else in the Blackhawks organization who knew of the allegations and chose not to alert police.
