Cam Newton learned the hard way what being a New England Patriot is all about. Newton was asked today what he has learned during his time with the Pats, and here’s what he said.
“Losing is not acceptable in this locker room. In this county. In this state. … So Cameron Newton, you needa pick your expletive up”

I’m just picturing Bill Belichick introducing himself to Cam Newton on day one in his office, and dropping this line on him while swiveling around in a desk chair. I’d be scared shitless.
You gotta hand it to Belichick and the New England Patriots, though. They take winning more seriously than any other team. Hence why they have been able to sustain so much success over the past decade+.
Personnel comes and goes, but the expectation remains the same. They have built one hell of a winning culture over there in New England. Not the place to go if you’re trying to have fun.
Cam Newton struggled last week in a blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers. If he can’t get the job done over there, Belichick will find someone that will. Losing will not be tolerated. Newton understands that.
