Are the Chicago Bulls back?

That’s the question many are asking after their past 24 hours of free agency moves.

Following their agreement to a sign-and-trade with Lonzo Ball, it was announced on Tuesday that they were also in agreement with Spurs wing DeMar DeRozan.

DeRozan now joins are Chicago Bulls starting unit that has been completely revamped since Arturas Karnisovas took over as president of basketball ops prior to last season.

With the Bulls being so irrelevant for what feels like forever, fans are jacked up with the aggressive nature of their offseason.

If nothing else, the Chicago Bulls are relevant again.

Sure, they might not be a championship-caliber basketball team as currently constructed. But Karnisovas is making it clear that he wants Chicago to be a destination for star talent for the foreseeable future.

It’ll be fascinating to see what coach Billy Donovan can do with his young roster mixed with his new pieces of Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso and DeRozan next season.
