Cristiano Ronaldo Sends Heartfelt Message To Juventus As He Departs For Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving Juventus and heading back to Old Trafford!

If you thought the NBA offseason has been wild, then you clearly haven’t been paying attention to all the craziness that has been going on in the soccer world this Summer.

After Lionel Messi agreed to a deal to join a stacked PSG squad, Cristiano Ronaldo followed suit with another internet-breaking move.

On Friday, it was announced that Ronaldo was heading back to where it all started, Manchester United.

Manchester United edged out bitter rival, Manchester City, in their pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Shortly after the news of Cristiano Ronaldo joining Manchester United was announced, he shared a heartfelt message to Juventus and all of their fans.

“Today I depart from an amazing club, the biggest in Italy and surely one of the biggest in all of Europe,” Ronaldo wrote. “I gave my heart and soul for Juventus and I’ll always love the city of Turin until my final days. The ‘tiffosi bianconeri’ always respected me and I tried to thank that respect by fighting for them in every game, every season, every competition. In the end, we can all look back and realize that we achieved great things, not all that we wanted, but still, we wrote a pretty beautiful story together.”

At 36-years-old, Cristiano Ronaldo has showed very few signs of slowing down, and remains one of (if not the best) goal scorers in all of Europe.

During his three years at Juventus, Ronaldo scored 81 goals in 98 appearances. He will leave back a legacy with the club, but nothing compared to what his legend will be with Manchester United if he can bring some trophies back to Old Trafford.

One thing is for sure, Man U just sent a schockwave to the entire Premier League with their acquisition of Cristiano Ronaldo.
