Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott explains the quote from Thursday night when he told Tom Brady that he'll be seeing him again in the playoffs

Following the thrilling game between the Buccaneers and Cowboys on Thursday night, Dak Prescott had a message for Tom Brady. He wanted the GOAT to know that he was going to be seeing him again in the playoffs.

After exchanging pleasantries with Brady, Dak Prescott told the Buccaneers quarterback, “we’ll see y’all again…trust me.”

When asked about his quote on Monday, Dak Prescott didn’t back down about his expectations for this Cowboys team.

“That’s just the confidence I have in this group, and the expectations I have,” Prescott said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “This is a playoff team that’s going to make a big push this year.”

Despite the loss, Dak Prescott was sensational in his return from a season-ending leg injury in 2020.

Prescott matched Brady every step of the way, throwing for 403 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cowboys are a flawed football team, but with Dak Prescott at 100%, they proved Thursday night that they can compete with the best teams in the NFL.

Perhaps Prescott might be able to take Dallas to new heights this season.
