Tony Buzbee Claims FBI Now Involved In Deshaun Watson Case

Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who has been representing the 20+ women who have accused Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault, has vowed not to back down from his fight against Watson.

And now, Buzbee says that the FBI is checking in on the civil lawsuits.

In a text to Fox 26, Buzbee said, “I can confirm that I have spoken to the FBI” about Deshaun Watson.

Deshaun Watson Being Investigated By The FBI?

“They contacted me and I’ve met with them three times now and now they’ve met with several of the plaintiffs in the case,” Buzbee said.

“Let’s be clear, when somebody comes into your office on the 73rd floor of the Chase Tower, whether they’re the FDA or the FBI, it’s a big deal,” Buzbee told Amy Dash of leagueofjustice.com. “Well, it was the FBI. . . . They contacted me and I’ve met with them three times now and now they’ve met with several of the plaintiffs in the case.”

Deshaun Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, has refuted the claim that the FBI is looking into the allegations.

“I have absolutely no reason to believe that Deshaun is being investigated by the FBI,” Hardin said.

“Mr. Buzbee’s comments are just part of a long, continuing pattern of just trying to harm Deshaun in the public perception. It is despicable conduct and I hope one day people will hold him accountable when the whole truth comes out.”

We’ll continue to monitor the troubling Deshaun Watson case.
