New Orleans Saints “offensive weapon” QB Taysom Hill just got PAID.

On Monday afternoon it was revealed that Hill was about to be granted a contract extension that could add up to over $90 Million if all goes according to plan for the QB.

New Orleans’ QB Taysom Hill signed a unique four-year, hybrid-type of contract extension that could be worth anywhere between $40 million and $95 million, depending on the position he plays, and includes $22.5 million guaranteed, sources tell ESPN.

Taysom Hill was locked in a starting quarterback competition with Jameis Winston prior to the year. But after Winston won out, Hill has been relegated to the same role he had under Drew Brees – where he would come in for specific packages.

Even after Jameis got hurt, the team has opted to give most of the snaps to veteran Trevor Siemian instead of Hill.

There’s no denying Taysom Hill’s impact on the Saints offense. But any way you slice it, this new contract for a guy who doesn’t even play most offensive snaps feels like a fleece.
