Fans React To Sudden News Of MLB Legend Albert Pujols Being Released By The Angles

Angels owner Arte Moreno has released a statement on releasing a legend in Albert Pujols.

Fans flocked to social media to share their thoughts on Albert Pujols potentially being done after being one of the most dominant hitters of our generation.

While Albert Pujols had some solid years with the Angels, he will be remembered as a St. Louis Cardinal. During his time in St. Louis, Pujols was the best hitter in the game of baseball, and was competing against a league of guys who were taking PEDs.

Pujols gave the game of baseball everything he had, but just might not have very much left in the tank. It’s too bad to see a guy of Pujols’ caliber go out like this, but that’s the way these things have to go sometimes.

Who knows? Maybe some team gives Albert Pujols a chance to finish out the year. Maybe he has just a little bit left to give before he announces his retirement, and makes his way to Cooperstown.
