Former NFL Player Emmanuel Acho Set to Replace Chris Harrison On ‘The Bachelor’

Bachelor Nation is still reeling from Chris Harrison’s decision to step away from the Bachelor franchise. Harrison was involved in a bit of controversy this Bachelor season related to defending a contestant who attended a racist themed plantation party. He faced backlash for his interview with Rachel Lindsay, the franchise’s first Black Bachelorette. That resulted in Chris deciding to take some time away to better himself. Now he’s being replaced, at least in the interim. Former NFL player Emmanuel Acho has announced that he will be replacing Chris Harrison as the host of The Bachelor.

“IT’S OFFICIAL: I’ve accepted the Rose & am honored to be hosting the @bachelorabc After the Final Rose this year,” he tweeted. “It’s been a pivotal season & this episode will be one of the most storied shows in its history. Empathy is needed and change is coming. See y’all then!”

My guess is Harrison will be back for the filming of the Bachelorette and Bachelor in  Paradise.

He probably needed a little break anyways.
