A very gory thing happened as Denmark and Finland traded tackles in Saturday evening’s Euro 2020 matchup. Ah, you hate to think of what that could mean, if you saw it.
An unmarked Christian Eriksen fell flat under no pressure midway through the first half, and there could be a lot of guesses to what actually happened.
Thankfully, UEFA has informed that the player has been stabilised and transferred to the hospital.
Following the medical emergency involving Denmark's player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET.
The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.
