Greg Olsen Shares Heartwarming Video Of His Son T.J. Telling Siblings He Has A Donor For Heart Transplant

Recently retired NFL tight end Greg Olsen had been looking for a heart transplant donor for his son, T.J., after it was made clear about a month ago that he would need surgery.

Exactly one week ago, Olsen revealed some awesome news. T.J. had found a match, and was all set for open heart surgery.

To share the one-week anniversary of the great news, Greg Olsen took to social media to reveal the heartwarming video of T.J. telling his two siblings that he had a match.

Exactly 1 week ago, the selfless act of a random stranger, our special angel donor, allowed TJ to share this news with his brother and sister.

The video of the sheer, youthful excitement T.J.’s brother and sister had after the news is enough to bring on some tears.

Just shortly after the surgery took place, Greg Olsen shared some updates. The first one was from T.J. Olsen himself.

“Hey everybody,” T.J. said. “Thank you for thinking of me. Thank you for praying with me.”

T.J. Olsen had been living with a modified heart for the first eight years of his life, but as Greg Olsen said, “that heart is reaching its end.”

Hopefully we can continue to receive good news from Greg Olsen, as T.J. Olsen resumes his long road to recovery.
