Jemele Hill Lashes Out At ESPN For Covering Logan Paul More Than Simone Biles

Former ESPN personality Jemele Hill isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and she was ready to rip her former employer earlier in the week.

A tweet was circulating the web that showed the disparity in coverage from Logan Paul (and his fight with Floyd Mayweather) and U.S. Olympic legend Simone Biles.

Jemele Hill came into the discussion to tear into ESPN over the lack of coverage for Simone Biles.

“Not a good look. On top of being the best gymnast ever, Simone Biles has over a million Twitter followers and 4 million IG followers, so can’t come the excuse that nobody is interested,” Hill wrote on Twitter.

When someone insinuated that ESPN’s move was calculated, Jemele Hill had a response.

“Simone posted a training video of her doing something no other woman has done and it got 3M hits. If you want to argue Logan Paul deserved more coverage, so be it. But the most decorated gymnast of all time deserves … none? Not one post?”

Good for Jemele Hill to stand up for what she believes in.

Unfortunately, Logan Paul has a lot of people interested in his stupid fights. I mean, wasn’t the Mayweather fight proof that this whole things is unappealing? That was literally one of the most boring fights I have ever seen in my life.

You gotta hand it to the Paul bothers, though. They know how to sell their brand.

With that being said, Jemele Hill is right. It’s definitely time for ESPN to start covering amazing athletes such as Simone Biles way more. Her overall body of work speaks for itself.
