Jim Harbaugh Finally Breaks Silence On Rumors Linking Him To NFL

After Jim Harbaugh’s first real successful year at Michigan resulted in a trip tot he College Football Playoffs, many are back to linking the former Niners head coach to open jobs around the NFL.

So far, Harbaugh’s name has come up mostly pertaining to the Raiders and Bears jobs. But with the Raiders embarking on a postseason trip with interim coach Rich Bisaccia, the Bears appear to have an upper hand in a potential Harbaugh negotiation.

For the first time, Jim Harbaugh spoke on all the smoke surrounding his potential NFL return. And he definitely left the door open to the possibility.

“It’s a little more enjoyable this year compared to the rumors last year, so,” Harbaugh said when asked about the latest NFL rumors.

Last season, the rumors surrounding Jim Harbaugh had some added importance because Michigan fans weren’t exactly thrilled with the coach, and some were hoping for a change anyways.

Now, he’s proven that he can beat Ohio State. And the school will likely have to open up their checkbook in order to keep him in Ann Arbor going forward.

At some point, it feels inevitable that Jim Harbaugh will return to the NFL. But time will tell if that will happen now or at another window down the road.
