Jodie Foster Returns the Favor, Shouts Out Aaron Rodgers During Her Globes Acceptance Speech

From one MVP to another. Jodie Foster, Packers super fan, returned the favor after Rodgers thanked Foster during his acceptance speech for the NFL MVP award for the 2020 season. During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Foster said if she won for her role in The Mauritanian at the Globes, she’d pay back with a Rodgers shout out.

Following her win Sunday night, Foster clarified that she did not introduce Woodley and Rodgers, but she’s just a huge Packers fan.

“I have never met Aaron Rodgers, but it is possible that I do like to talk about how much I love the Green Bay Packers,” Foster said in virtual backstage comments. “Sometimes I can talk a little bit too much about that, so of course Shailene was very aware of my enthusiasm for the team.”

At this point, Jodie Foster and Aaron Rodgers really should meet.
