Johnny Manziel Makes His Long Awaited Debut In Fan Controlled Football League: ‘Win Or Lose We Booze’

Johnny Manziel is BACK!

Well, sort of. In what looked like the worst quality of football I have ever seen, Johnny Manziel made his debut for the Zappers of the “Fan Controlled Football” League on Saturday night. Manziel showed some glimpses of his old self, but was wholly unimpressive. He completed just one of five passes, but did some nice work scrambling.

“Feels like I’m super washed up, but still had a blast,’’ he said after his team lost to the Beasts, 48-44. “That was the most fun I’ve had in a while.’’

While Johnny Manziel wasn’t speaking highly of his performance, he did have one run that got some people excited. Check it out.

Staying true to form, Manziel was already ready for his next beer despite losing the game.
“The product will keep getting better as the weeks go on,’’ he said. “Good start even with the loss. You know, win or lose we booze on the Zappers.”
It seems like Johnny Manziel was born to play in The Fan Controlled Football League. Nobody cares if you win or lose, you don’t have to prepare, drinking is encouraged, and the quality of play isn’t very good. That just about checks every box for Johnny Football. Unfortunately, I don’t see how long this league will really last. Where is the money going to come from?
Johnny Manziel will keep having fun as long as he can with the Zappers. We’ll be here for that content.
