Jon Scheyer Reportedly Set to Replace Coach K

Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski is finally hanging it up, even though up until today he has given no indication he plans to stop coaching anytime soon. Now 74, nearing his 42nd season with the Blue Devils, rumors continue to swirl about a possible successor. One name that is being thrown around is former Duke player Jon Scheyer.

Jeff Goodman is reporting Jon Scheyer will be the coach of the Blue Devils future.

One name that kept getting thrown around to replace Coach K was Brad Stevens.

Stevens, who nearly led the Butler Bulldogs to an upset of Duke during the 2010 national championship game, has stepped down as the Boston Celtics head coach to become the team’s president of basketball operations, according to multiple reports.
