Jordan Spieth Shares Incredible Insight Into Tiger Woods’ Mental Edge

Tiger Woods is arguably the greatest golfer to ever play the sport, and he’s certainly the most polarizing. While Tiger remains in recovery from the brutal car crash that left him hospitalized and in need of surgery, we can all marvel at all the great Tiger Woods memories from the past.

Tiger has an incredible god-given gift to play the game of golf, but he also has an insane mental approach that has catapulted him throughout his career.

Fellow PGA golfer and good friend, Jordan Spieth, shared how amazed he is with Tiger’s mental approach to golf during an appearance on the No Laying Up podcast.

“I’ve played with Tiger a lot. I played with him quite a few times when he was really, really struggling in the 2015-16 frame,” Spieth explained. “He was trying to come back, really struggling chipping, just wasn’t playing very well. And out of every single round I played with him, I never heard him say one negative thing. He was mad. He would drop an F-bomb. But it was never a negative comment about himself.

“He’s the only person I’ve played with that I can say that about, including myself. I just thought that that was so intriguing that I’ve never heard him say one negative thing about himself.”

Pretty amazing to think that through all the golf shots Tiger Woods has hit in his life, he doesn’t let himself get down.

I mean, it’s only human nature no kick yourself after a bad golf shot, right? Nope…not Tiger. The guy is truly a different breed.

Let’s all hope we get Tiger Woods back on the golf course at some point down the road. The entire sports world misses his presence.
