Kansas City Chiefs May Get Brought Into The Britt Reid Lawsuit

Earlier today it was announced that Andy Reid’s son, Britt Reid, has been charged with a DWI from a February car crash that left a 5-year-old girl hospitalized.

Now that the police reported has been released, it is now considered a ‘real possibility’ that the Chiefs will be involved in this lawsuit. This would be due to the fact that Britt Reid told the officer at the scene that he was coming from work, which at the time was the outside linebackers coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Britt Reid admitted to police that “he had left work” prior to the car crash.

There is now a real possibility that his employer, the Kansas City Chiefs, will get brought into a civil lawsuit by the victim, a 5-year old girl.

Here was the police report, which states that Britt Reid’s blood-alcohol content was well above the legal limit at the time of the crash.
