LeBron James Under Fire After Tweeting ‘You’re Next’ At Ohio Cop Who Killed Teen

LeBron James isn’t afraid to share his activism on his social media page. But this time, fans think he may have taken it too far. After Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all three counts in the murder of George Floyd, LeBron tweeted, “you’re next” to an Ohio cop who is under investigation after killing teenage girl Makiah Bryant. He quickly deleted the tweet after the backlash.

As is the case with a lot of these cop-related killings, people are split on their reaction to LeBron’s post.

LeBron James spoke on why he took the tweet down, and admitted some fault.

LeBron James should not have tweeted this out without having gathered all of the facts first. Hopefully he knows he made a mistake, and understands how he has too big of a platform to spread things like this without knowing every last detail.
