Los Angeles Clippers Make Big Trade With Memphis Grizzlies

The Los Angeles Clippers are gearing up for a title run in 2021-2022, with or without Kawhi Leonard. Sunday night, the Clippers made a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN broke the trade Sunday evening.

Eric Bledsoe was acquired by the Grizzlies in a trade earlier this off-season which included Steven Adams and two first round picks for Jonas Valanciunas and a first round pick (pick 17 in the 2021 draft).

Bledsoe is now on his third team in just over a year after being traded from the Bucks to the Pelicans last off-season in a four-team trade.

One of the funnier pictures of the day came from an old tweet from Patrick Beverley who said that he “Just won the f**king championship” after hearing that both Kawhi and Paul George were joining the team.

Bledsoe had a down year in New Orleans last season averaging just 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. Beverley is known for his tough defense and averaged 7.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game last year.

Unfortunately for Beverley and Rondo, it does not look promising for either after being shipped out of LA to Memphis. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Grizzlies move both of the aging players before the start of the 2021 NBA season.
