Former Houston Texans head coach David Culley reacted after the team made the unpopular decision to fire him after just one season on the job

Everyone knew the Houston Texans were going to be atrocious in 2021. But even so, the team made the decision to fire head coach David Culley after just one season at the helm.

David Culley’s Texans finished the year at a disappointing 4-13. But given the flawed roster, organizational dysfunction, and positive play from rookie quarterback Davis Mills, it’s easy to see that Culley did the best given his situation.

After the news was announced, social media erupted to call out the Texans over their unfair treatment of Culley.

David Culley was always a stepping stone for the Texans. And that’s a pretty awful way for an organization to treat a man who gave his all to a job.

After never giving a chance to Culley, the Texans proved once again that they are one of the very worst ran professional sports teams in the country.

Perhaps David Culley is better off moving on from such a toxic environment.
