The Phoenix Suns beat the Denver Nuggets last night 116 – 102 in Denver last night, but Deandre Ayton was shook when he read Nikola Jokic’s stat line.

Ayton had a good game with 15 rebounds, 2 assists and 10 points last night, but after the game he was reading Jokic’s stat line during his post-game interview and was left saying some funny things.

The former 2018 first overall pick, Ayton, had some high praise for the newly crowned MVP of the league. “Jokic had like 20 rebounds… yeah that’s insane, and 10 assists. Yep, he the MVP.”

Jokic’s official line of 20 rebounds, 10 assists, and 32 points is absolutely amazing. The dude is a center! He has clearly stepped his game up this year and has been used even more as a facilitator with Jamal Murray lost to injury.

To think, Jokic was just the 41st pick in the 2014 NBA draft. This man has come a long way and is well deserving of this honor.

The Nuggets find themselves deep in a hole being down 3-0 heading in to their game 4 Sunday night in Denver.
