Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer is being accused of Sexual Assault, and that caught the attention of another pitcher in the league. New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard was clearly paying attention to the reports. The two have twitter history, sometimes they beef it out on Social Media, so the Mets hurler wasn’t going to let this one go without poking a little fun.

Dude, no. A woman was sexually assaulted. This is not a chapter in your rivalry with Bauer. This is not about you at all. Delete this.

You won't see this but this is a bad look. Dunking on him because of an SA allegation makes the victim mere fodder for your feud with Bauer. It's bigger than that and this makes you look like you're trivializing it to score a cheap "point" against Bauer.

Real men do not sexually assault or make fun of serious matters like sexual assault.

Trevor’s lawyer released a statement following the reports:
Following a TMZ report that police in California are investigating Dodgers star Trevor Bauer for an assault on a woman, Bauer's attorney, Jon Fetterolf, released a statement in which he denied the allegations. ESPN has chosen not to name the woman even though her attorney did. pic.twitter.com/jdSbmNtQma
