Odell Beckham Sr. Appears To Celebrate His Son’s Release

Odell Beckham Jr’s dad, Odell Beckham Sr., created a huge buzz when he posted a video to Instagram of a bunch of times his son was open but not thrown the ball over the course of the season.

Odell Beckham Sr’s post didn’t lead to a trade immediately. But after being “excused” from practice all week, the Browns announced on Friday that they would be granting OBJ his outright release.

Just before the news was announced, Odell Sr hopped back on Instagram to thank the people who initially created the video of all the times his son was missed by Baker Mayfield.

“WHHHAAAA…Shout out to Jdaddy Productions on YouTube.com for making this video, a week ago which allowed me to find it and post it 3days after…🙏🏽💪🏽💯#imafather1st,” he wrote.

Perhaps the Odell Beckham Sr. video was the final nail in the coffin to getting OBJ off the team – which means the family has Daddy Productions to thank for being free’d.

In the aftermath of the release, it has been reported that the Chiefs, 49ers, Packers, Raiders and Saints are the early frontrunners to scoop up the Odell Beckham Jr.

It’ll be interesting to see where he lands.
