Oscar De La Hoya Announces Date For Comeback Fight

Legendary boxer Oscar De La Hoya last stepped into the ring in 2008, after suffering a controversial loss to Manny Pacquiao. After 13 years, the Golden Boy wants back in.

During the press conference for Jake Paul and Ben Askrens’ boxing match, De La Hoya announced that he’ll be stepping into the ring on July 3rd.

“July 3rd, I’m making my comeback,” Oscar announced during a news conference. He then dropped the mic and walked off the stage without naming his opponent.

It seems like a bunch of ex-fighters are trying to find their way to get back into the ring lately, and Oscar De La Hoya appears to be the latest one.

Snoop Dogg is also a big part of these celebrity boxing matches, and perhaps the most interesting part of them.

As for De La Hoya, we’ll see who he ends up fighting. He looks in shape, but I’m not sure returning against legitimate brawlers is in his best interest.

It’ll be cool to see Oscar De La Hoya back in the ring nonetheless.
