Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Snaps Back After Toni Kroos Mocks His Mask Celebration: ‘Do you have kids?’

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has a problem with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s goal celebration. The Arsenal striker is known for pulling out a superhero mask and putting it on after he scores a goal. Here’s what Toni Kroos had to say about the celebration.

“Aubameyang once celebrated and took out a mask. That’s where it ends with me. I don’t think that’s a good role model, either. What nonsense, Toni Kroos said via Sport Bible.

“What I always found sweet was Gerd Muller. He just jumped up, pulled up his pants. That was real joy, nothing big.”

Aubameyang took offense to Toni Kroos’ comments, and vowed that his celebration would continue despite his disproval.

“By the way, does Toni Kroos have kids? Just remember I did it for my son few times and will do it again,” Aubameyang writes.

Aubameyang started his superhero celebration shortly after Chadwick Boseman’s death, as a way of honoring the late actor who played The Black Panther.

After starting with the Black Panther mask, Aubemeyang has switched it up. He has donned a few different superhero masks, and will likely continue to expand the celebration.

I am strongly on team Aubameyang in this feud. Goals are fun. Who made Toni Kroos the police on how you can or cannot celebrate? Pull out a mask, go crazy, do whatever you want after you score a goal. This is sports, not a place where we have to censor excitement. If you don’t like it, stop him from scoring. I also think it’s a fun way for Aubameyang to interact with his kid while he watches his dad play.

Wakanda forever.
