Robert Griffin Getting Dragged for Poor Taste Joke About Jameis Winston

New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston looked like a completely different QB as he’s now the main man in New Orleans following Drew Brees retirement. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback threw five touchdown passes during his team’s 38-3 rout, completing 14 of 20 throws for 148 yards. It was the fewest yards ever for a QB who tossed Five Touchdowns.

Following the game his coach gave him props.

“I thought he played very well,” Saints head coach Sean Payton said. “He was locked in, focused, we spread the ball around and we’re going to go through that tape and look at some of the throws and there might be a progression or two but I thought he played very well.”

Newly minted analyst Robert Griffin III took to Twitter to troll Winston by recalling the quarterback’s infamous crab legs incident during his days at Florida State.

It was a pretty poor taste joke.

Twitter was not feeling his attempt at a joke. He was called out a guy who bullied him by calling him a ‘cornball.’

“Been bullied w/ comments like this my whole life. Wasn’t black because I talked “proper” or was what @AFRO_THUNDER80 called me because I didn’t talk or dress black enough. It’s okay to be black, educated, support & give back to your community and make bad jokes from time to time”

Griffin soon realized he was getting dragged over his comments:

Really a strange move by Griffin, considering he’s been the butt of the joke for many years.

Fail.
