Richardson missed the Olympics because she tested positive for marijuana after winning the women’s 100-meter U.S track and field trials prior to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

The fastest women in the world were invited to the Prefontaine Classic which was held in Oregon over the weekend which showcased some of the best track and field athletes across the world.

Richardson was given her chance to redeem herself with a strong performance after missing the Olympics, but unfortunately, she fell flat and finished 9th, last place.

Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson-Herah took home first place with a run of 10.54 seconds, with Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in second and Shericka Jackson in third place,. Jamaica swept the podium for the event, while Teahna Daniels of U.S.A finished 4th.

After the race, Richardson made sure to tell the world that she didn’t care how she did and that this was just one race and that she was not done … and to talk all that sh*t you want.

No doubt Richardson was hoping for a better result after missing the Olympics, but there is no doubt that she will be back and better than ever.
