Simone Biles Returns Home To Parade, Joins BF Jonathan Owens At Texans Practice After Olympics

U.S. Olympian Simone Biles was the talk of the Tokyo Olympics after she withdrew from several gymnastics events due to a mental health flare-up.

Biles would return for one final competition late in the games, and would end up earning a bronze medal in the balance beam event.

The Biles situation caused a lot of debate. But when she returned home, there was no denying that she was still widely beloved by a whole bunch of fans.

Simone Biles returned home to Houston to a packed airport of fans cheering, and also had people lined up on the streets when she was driving home.

On Friday, Simone Biles joined her NFL boyfriend, Jonathan Owens, at Texans Training Camp.

Despite her struggles at the Tokyo Olympics, Simone Biles says that she has no plans to quit competing in gymnastics, and she left the door open for a potential return at the 2024 Olympics.

“I think I have to relish and take this Olympics in, and kind of recognize what I’ve done with my career because after 2016, I didn’t get to do that,” Biles said. “Life just happens so quickly and now I have a greater appreciation for life after everything that’s happened in the last five years.”

Simone Biles is still the GOAT of gymnastics, and her fans will always love her for everything she has done in competition and away from it.

Something tells me she’s going to come back even stronger from her difficult experience at the Tokyo Olympics.
